Research On Series Of Changes Triggered By Gutenberg Mechanical Printing

As mobile internet technology has been developing rapidly,human society is undergoing major communication changes,which is extremely similar to the appearance of Gutenberg mechanical printing more than 500 years ago.At that time,Gutenberg mechanical printing greatly accelerated the spread of information such as science,literature and art in Europe,which triggered a series of changes and then opened a new chapter in European development.For history is always our mirror,we shall learn something from it for future but not only look back upon the past at present moment.During my study of the predecessors,I find that the research of the communication revolution caused by Gutenberg mechanical printing in the sense of journalism and communication is still a blank in the domestic academic field.Therefore,by reviewing the changes triggered by Gutenberg mechanical printing more than 500 years ago,it will help the individuals,the media and the society to learn from history and reflect the current state of change,and it is exactly the main purpose of this paper.From the aspects of both journalism communication and history,this research will introduce the Gutenberg mechanical printing firstly and how it brings changes to the printing technology,the printing media,the communication method and the society.Qualitative research,interdisciplinary research and literature research methods will be used to comprehensively and systematically discuss the series of changes triggered by Gutenberg mechanical printing.In terms of structure,firstly this paper clarifies the research problems and paths from the research background,concept definition,literature review,etc.In the second and third chapters,it discusses the production of Gutenberg mechanical printing and the development of printing industry.Following,hypotheses are put forward in the fourth chapter,and then combined the theory of journalism communication and history knowledge,it continuously verifies to test the hypothesis that the development of print media leads to changes in the structure of communication.On the premise of the hypothesis,the fifth chapter takes the new industrial and commercial industry as the starting point,and discusses how the changes in the communication structure affect social change from the perspective of human capital,trade exchange scale and civilization.This paper gives a new interpretation of changes triggered by Gutenberg mechanical printing from the perspective of communication:Gutenberg mechanical printing has prompted the emergence of new printing industry.The booming of printing industry has led to changes in the structure of communication.The new changes in communication structure have affected the scale of social human capital,industrial and commercial trade,and finally contributed to the emergence of modern civilization and the advancement of human civilization.By conclusion,historical review is an important enlightenment and reference for how the modern human society is transforming and evolving in new technological revolution.
