Recently,specific superhydrophobic surfaces with a CA larger than 150°have attracted significant attention because of their properties and their potential for practical applications.Hydrophobic emulsion was prepared by copolymerization of acrylate and SR,and was coated on cotton fabrics.Then the resulting cotton fabrics were coated by the modified MMT dispersion,then the superhydrophobic coating fabrics was obtained.The effects of monomer type,monomers ratio,times of dipping emulsion and MMT dispersion,drying temperature,and the type of fabric on the hydrophobicity were investigated.The superhydrophobic coating was tested for its acid and alkali resistance,salt resistance,washing fastness,fire resistance and UV shielding properties.And their application in oil-water separation,corrosion resistance,ice protection and self-cleaning are discussed.In addition,a preliminary exploration of the preparation of butterfly-like superhydrophobic coating was also studied.The results showed that:(1)The hydrophobic properties of butyl acrylate and hexafluorobutyl acrylate copolymerized with SR were good,and the optimal monomers ratios were 8:12 and 5:18,respectively.The optimal dipping times of emulsion and MMT dispersion were 3 and 2times,respectively.The fabric exhibited the best hydrophobic property when dried at30°C.The nylon fabric showed the superamphiphobic property after dipping the emulsion.The contact angle of the super-hydrophobic cotton fabric was 159.48°.(2)The superhydrophobic coating had excellent superhydrophobic stability in the acid,alkali and salt environment.The superhydrophobic coating also had excellent washing fastness,fire proof performance and ultraviolet shielding performance.The superhydrophobic coated fabric can efficiently separate the oil-water mixture,and its oil-water separation efficiency was as high as 97%,and it also possessed excellent anti-corrosion,anti-icing and self-cleaning properties.(3)Under the induction of the magnetic field,the degree of ordering of magnetic Fe3O4-montmorillonite on the surface of the fabric increased,and its contact angle increased from 159.22°to 162.52°.
