Traditional sizing are used high temperature sizing,slurry tank temperature above 90 ?.High-temperature sizing easy to produce a serious crust phenomenon,consume a lot of energy,at the same time,the high temperature and humidity make the workshop environment is very harsh,not conducive to the work of workers.Medium temperature sizing refers to: the mixing temperature and the sizing temperature are between 60 ? to 80 ?.The temperature and size of medium temperature sizing and sizing are all 65 ?.The temperature sizing is not only environmentally friendly and energy saving,but also greatly improve the production environment for workers to provide a comfortable working environment.Therefore,medium temperature sizing will be the inevitable trend of warp sizing in the future.To study medium temperature sizing,it is necessary to study the properties of medium temperature sizing slurry.Studying the properties of medium temperature sizing slurry is the basis for researching medium temperature sizing yarn and providing the possibility for realizing medium temperature sizing,The importance of investigating medium temperature slurry performance.The quality of the sizing and the efficiency of the subsequent weaving processes depend very much on the quality of the sizing and the properties of the sizing are the basis for the sizing quality.Slurry performance Slurry permeability,serosa performance and slurry adhesion is most important.After the slurry temperature is lowered,the viscosity and surface tension of the slurry increase,the permeability of the slurry drops sharply,the permeability of the slurry can not be guaranteed,the quality of the sizing is naturally not guaranteed,and the weaving efficiency will be reduced accordingly.In order to solve this problem,the present invention adds a surfactant to the slurry to adjust the surface tension of the slurry to improve the permeability of the slurry and improve the sizing rate of the sizing agent in the medium temperature sizing.It also improves the shortcomings of surfactant in the slurry.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Explore the properties of a slurry that dissolves completely at mid-temperature.The functional groups contained in the slurry molecules were analyzed by infrared spectroscopy to ensure the authenticity of the experimental samples and to explain the differences in the permeability of different types of slurry.The viscosities of slurry,permeability in warp yarn,adhesion to rovings and serosa properties were compared between high-temperature mortar and mid-temperature mortar.SEM and SEM were used to observe the morphology of serosa and sizing yarn.(2)Based on the purpose of solving the permeability of medium temperature slurry,the properties of the slurry after adding the surfactant to the medium temperature slurry and the change of the mechanical properties of the slurry were investigated.And compared with high temperature slurrying and medium temperature slurrying performance,serosa performance,to determine the effect of a good surfactant and its dosage.(3)Through the sizing of 14.6tex pure cotton yarn,the transverse and longitudinal cross-sections of raw yarn,high temperature sizing,mid-temperature non-adding surfactant and mid-temperature adding surfactant sizing were tested by scanning electron microscopy and sizing performance test,Contrasting the differences between the various categories.The results showed that the quality of sizing without additives was the worst at mid-temperature,the worst was infiltration,the quality of sizing was the best at high temperature,and the infiltration was the best.The quality of sizing agent added by medium temperature was better than that of medium temperature sizing without sizing,Good yarn quality.(4)Surfactant has a significant effect on the surface tension and permeability of the slurry.The combination of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and tributyl phosphate results in a lower surface tension and better permeability of the slurry on the principle that tributyl phosphate,as a good defoamer,has an extremely low surface Tension and good diffusion and permeability,added to the slurry can be effective in the formation of the foam film has been instable and rapid defoaming.
