| Natural fiber fabrics especially hemp fabric,has been highly popular withconsumers because of its good performance of taking and simplenatural style.Especially in recent years,ramie fabrics which has excellent performanceof thin, smooth,are more in line with the individual needs of today’s consumers.HuNan Huasheng Dong Ting Flax Industry Co. Ltd.produced ramie and vinylon fiberblended yarn through improved production technology and high quality ramiespinning techniques.Vinylon in the blended yarn of the fabrics can be dissolved in thefinishing process.The fabric will become thinner, widely welcomed by themarket.But,the sizing process of ramie and vinylon blended yarn must be in the lowtemperature.Under the condition of low temperature,The poor fluidity ofmacromolecular slurry and viscosity would hindered the penetration of the slurry tothe internal fiber between the yarns,caused serious surface sizing and easy tobreakage.Not only waste slurry, and can not achieve the desired effect of sizing.In the research of this paper,ultrasonic vibration device is added in the slurrytank sizing machine.Sizing the ramie and vinylon blended yarn under the lowtemperature conditions.Explore the mechanism of ultrasonic in sizing through thestudy of it’s influence on the structure and properties of ramie and vinylon blendedyarns and The viscosity and grout adhesion and sizing quality.The main work andconclusions are as follows:(1) To explore the effect of ultrasonic on the structure and properties of ramieand vinylon blended yarns through the simulation of sizing process.The results showthat:there are more uniform gaps between the internal fiber of yarns after ultrasonictreatment.Dust material on the surface of the fiber was basically fall off and becamemore smooth and clean.This is conducive to the infiltration and drape of the slurry tothe surface of the yarn.Analysis of the data of breaking strength and elongation of theyarns treatmented by the ultrasonic and without ultrasonic treatment based on theStatistical Product and Service Solutions.The results show that,Ultrasonic treatmenthas no significant influence on the yarn strength and elongation.(2) Test the viscosity of three different kinds of formulations after the ultrasonictreatment.To test the change of adhesion of slurry by using roving method.The resultsshow that:the viscosity of slurry decreased and the flow of serous enhancement afterultrasonic treatment.Under the condition of low temperature sizing,the effect ofultrasonic can keep the viscosity low and stable, the viscosity of slurry increases,increase the adhesion of the yarn. (3) Use different formulation of slurry by the common sizing technology andultrasonic sizing technology for low temperature.Observation the surface of sizingyarns by using scanning electron microscopy.The results obtained that ultrasonicassisted sizing can improve the tensile strength and abrasion resistance at lowtemperature and reduce sizing reducing elongation rate, reduce yarn hairiness index3mm.The film is more uniform and smooth.(4) Sizing experiment in the actual production conditions of ultrasonic in lowtemperature. Compared to test quality of sizing and weaving breakage rate.Theresults show that: the ultrasonic assisted low temperature sizing can improve sizingquality, reduce weaving breakage rate. |
