Basalt continuous fiber was a new type of multifunctional inorganic fiber,which was made from basalt ore melting at 1450?1500?and drawing through spinneret.The composite material with basalt fiber as the main body had also become a new multifunctional composite material.Through the extensive research on the properties of basalt fiber products,data reference was provided for the research and development of light environmental protection basalt multifunctional building materials.Firstly,the properties and lamination process of laminated panel materials were studied,and the thermodynamic properties,thermal conductivity and flame retardancy of both basalt fibers and fabrics were tested.The effect of laminating process parameters on the peeling properties of laminated fabrics was discussed.The results showed that the basalt fabric had excellent thermodynamic property,heat-insulating property,flame retardant property,etc.The optimum lamination time was 6 min and the laminating temperature was 130?.Secondly,the structure and compression properties of the core of the laminated sheet were studied.The influence of braiding process parameters on the wear resistance of basalt braiding rope were tested.Hollow composite plates with different spacing distributions,spacing heights and spacer materials were designed and prepared,and their compression properties were tested.The results showed that the wear resistance of basalt braided rope decreased with the increase of braiding pitch and braiding speed,the compression property of composite plate increased with the increase of the pitch of braided rope,and increased with the decrease of interval distribution and interval height.The basalt braided rope with certain arrangement was determined as the core material of laminated plate,the supporting height was 20mm and the supporting point distribution area was 200mm2.Thirdly,the curing process of unsaturated polyester resin 196#system and epoxy resin system were studied by non-isothermal DSC method.The viscosity of the resin at different temperatures were measured by rotating viscometer.The compressive strength of hollow plate with unsaturated polyester resin system and epoxy resin system as matrix were analyzed.The results showed that the curing process of unsaturated polyester resin 196#system and epoxy resin system were exothermic process,and the reaction followed the first-order reaction mechanism,and the optimum curing temperature of unsaturated polyester resin 196#system was determined,that was,the gel temperature was 68?,the curing temperature was 107?,and the post-curing temperature was 155?.The gel temperature,curing temperature and post curing temperature of epoxy resin E51 system were 56?,126?and 161?,respectively.The pretreatment temperature range of unsaturated polyester resin system and epoxy resin system was 5070?.The compressive strength of hollow plate with epoxy resin as matrix was greater,which was0.034 MPa,but the viscosity of epoxy resin E51 is too high at room temperature,so the unsaturated polyester resin 196#is used as matrix material.Finally,The light environmental friendly multifunctional basalt laminated plate with basalt woven rope as core,basalt laminate as panel and unsaturated polyester resin as matrixwasprepared.Ultravioletprotectionperformance,airpermeability,thermal insulation and flame retardancy were tested.The results showed that the prepared laminated plate had UPF value of 64.15,?UVA?AVV of 1.90 and thermal conductivity of0.1612W m-11 K-1,which met the requirements of ultraviolet protection products and belonged to the thermal insulation material and noncombustible material,and which was impermeable,but thermal conductivity still needs to be further reduced.
