In this period,Chinese economy has developed and entered a new normal,and the market is becoming more and more competitive.In today’s market environment,enterprises want to be the market leader.It is far from enough to rely solely on capital,technology,product quality,service and price.The most important thing is the competitive advantage of human resources.The key to the transformation of "made in China" to "China creation" strategy is to acquire and maintain high-quality staff in time.The rapidly growing new generation of employees with distinct personality characteristics is becoming the main force in the workplace.Since 1980,more than 200 million new generation have been born,and the new generation of employees has accounted for 50% of the current working-age population in China.Compared with previous employees,the new generation of employees is more innovative,advocating freedom and democracy,and self-consciousness.At the same time,they will be inflexible in their hearts,so they will show strong liquidity in enterprises.Frequent staff turnover has increased the manpower cost of enterprises and brought challenges to human resources.The new generation of employees has become more and more important in the economic development of the organization,region and country.Employees are the core strength of enterprise development,the precious wealth and the most fundamental strategic resources of enterprises,supporting the core competitiveness and strength of enterprises.The steel industry has experienced a boom,a bust,a recovery,and a rise in 2018.XC steel company,as a typical steel production enterprise,has faced many problems during its development.The high turnover rate of new generation employees is particularly evident in iron and steel enterprises.As a traditional heavy industry,the iron and steel industry has extremely bad environmental conditions and risk factors.Therefore,the turnover rate of the new generation of employees is also high in the iron and steel enterprises,which has brought great impact and unprecedented challenges to the management of human resources in the enterprises.In this paper,PEST model is used to analyze the external environment of XC steel company.Starting from the current situation of the company,this paper analyzes the reasons for employees’ resignation through questionnaire survey.Through optimizing the wage growth mechanism,improving the working environment,widening the career development channel of the new generation employees and renewing the management model,we can solve the problem of employee turnover in the new generation,so as to deal with the company’s current problems.From the construction of the new wage and salary model and the improvement of the production environment,the realization of green production,the improvement of the quality of training and the introduction of foreign advanced production mode,the concrete implementation scheme has been discussed.Then help XC Steel Corp solve the problem of high turnover rate of new generation employees.The corresponding research in this paper also provides inspiration for enterprises in the same industry.
