The large-scale single-head hydraulic split machine is widely used in mine mining,tunnel excavation,municipal engineering and other fields,it has come into being under the conditions of higher and higher mining requirements,and it is a symbol of the development and progress of science and technology.In the past,explosive blasting was often used for stone blasting,but there were many potential safety hazards.And now,the state's control over explosives has become more and more stringent.In many cases explosives cannot be approved for blasting.For reasons of stability,mine exploitation requires such large single-head hydraulic splitters to replace the explosives.This paper first proposes the differences between the large single-head hydraulic splitting machine studied and the splitting machine previously designed by the research group,which is mainly reflected in the structure and splitting force.Before the study,the stress characteristics of the crack hole wall were first analyzed.By investigating the stress distribution condition,the purpose of making the cracking machine to perform the rock breaking work reasonably and efficiently was achieved,and it was concluded that under the premise of meeting the working conditions,the appropriate reduction was achieved.The value of the arc radius of the smaller outer wedge is favorable for increasing the splitting force.Relevant calculations were carried out,and important parameters such as cylinder bore and wall thickness were determined.And the relevant technologies of the splitting machine were studied.At the same time,the precautions and maintenance aspects of the product were explained,providing detailed reference for the users.The project was completed in cooperation with a machinery manufacturing company in Shandong.The original product was subject to structural damage.To address this issue,the ANSYS finite element simulation software was used for simulation analysis to determine the vulnerable parts of the structure.And using ANSYS finite element simulation software to develop an improved program,by changing the shape,heat treatment process and raw materials through the three angles to solve practical problems.After the on-site splitting test was performed,the effect was satisfactory.The improvement direction of the large-scale single-head hydraulic splitting machine was proposed.The manufacturer agreed to use this idea as the future improvement direction of the equipment,and also pointed out the research direction for the research group in the future.
