The vortex tube is a static cold and heat separation device.Its structure is simple.The working is stable and reliable,and the later maintenance is convenient.It can be used for the dehydration and de-hydrocarbon process of natural gas.But at present,in the application process of dehydration and de-hydrocarbon,the high temperature of the air flow in the outer layer will cause the condensed liquid evaporate again,which affects the separation effect of the condensable component of natural gas.In order to make the condensed liquid drop out as soon as possible before evaporating again and improve the separation performance of the vortex tube,a set of vortex tube with a liquid discharge structure is designed in this paper.The liquid discharge structure changes the continuity of the vortex tube's inner wall,so the numerical simulation method is used to study the thermal separation performance of the vortex tube with liquid discharge structure.Found that with the increase of the cold flow rate,both the temperature difference and the heating effect increase,while the cooling effect decreases gradually,and both the temperature efficiency and the refrigeration efficiency have the maximum value.The existence of liquid drainage structure has little effect on the characteristics of the vortex tube,and doesn't have a destructive effect on the performance of the vortex tube.The experimental platform of single-phase vortex tube was built.And study the effect of additional liquid discharge structure,separation and recovery unit by experimentation.It is found that in the range of the cold flow rate,the heating effect increases with the gradual increase of the cold flow rate,while the cooling effect has a maximum value.The existence of the liquid discharge structure and the separation and recovery unit has a small effect on the evaluating indicator of the vortex tube,such as the temperature efficiency.Furthermore,the influence of operating parameters and structural parameters on the vortex tube is further studied.It is found that the increase in amplitude of performance parameters decreases when the ratio of length to diameter reaches a certain value.In the contrast experiment between hot end tube and nozzle runner,the conical tube and Archimedes spiral channel nozzles are more conducive to cold and heat separation.The experimental platform of single-phase vortex tube was built to study the separation performance to the wet gas of the vortex tube with liquid discharge structure on the basis of the single-phase experimental platform.The results show that the removal rate is different by using different experimental medium.Under the same liquid mass flow rate,the removal rate obtained by using water as medium is higher than that of ethanol solution.In the size range designed by the experiment,the positions of the discharge port and the liquid discharge port clearance have little effect on the removal rate of the vortex tube with the liquid discharge structure.But the concentration of the condensing component has a great influence on the removal rate.With the increase of outlet pressure of the hot end,the removal rate increases gradually with the change of liquid mass flow rate.With the increase of liquid mass flow rate,the removal rate is obviously increased.It can up to 70%.Therefore,the existence of liquid drainage structure is conducive to the separation of wet gas by vortex tube.
