Study On The Application Of Fold In Maternity Dress

As an important decorative modeling technique in clothing design,fold is used in various clothing types.Throughout history,whether from the pleated garb of the new Kings of ancient Egypt,the ruff of the European Renaissance,or the "fairy skirt" of the Han dynasty in China.Or the widespread use of pleats in today's clothing is enough to prove that pleats are popular with people.The use of "maternity wear" in today's hot special clothing is no exception.In this paper,we try to find the connection between the characteristics of the fold and the characteristics of pregnancy wear,and find a breakthrough point to optimize the design of the fold design in maternity clothes.This paper is divided into five chapters,starting with the concept of folding and understanding the theory,characteristics and production process of the fold.Through the investigation of maternity dress,understanding the needs of maternity dress,and demonstrating the feasibility of the fold application in maternity clothes.And analyze the change characteristics of each stage of pregnancy in shape,the different types of fold at different stages of pregnancy using whether can meet the demand of maternity small experiments,analysis of the different types of fold which were more suitable for the stage.This paper analyzes the application of fold in the two representative brands in the market of pregnant women at home and abroad and summarizes the application of them.Based on the knowledge of the two chapters,the design of the use of fold for professional maternity clothes,and leisure maternity clothes design,each pick two or three production of finished products and will have a try it is concluded that the fitting report on the finished product and put forward the optimization scheme,finally draw the conclusion.Through these experiments,the advantages of fold application in maternity clothing were summarized,and the advantages of fold in the design of maternity clothes were maximized.
