Research On Arterial Highway Traffic Safety Risk Assessment Method And Control Technology

At present,the road traffic safety in China has been improved,but the road traffic safety situation is still severe because of the continuous increase of the motor vehicles number and the increase of road mileage.The arterial highway traffic accidents are complicated and its social impact is huge,so the arterial highway traffic safety needs to be paid more attention.Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out the research on the risk assessment and safety protection technology of the arterial highway.Based on the common point between traffic safety management and risk management,this paper introduces risk management theory into traffic safety management,and puts forward the concept of arterial highway traffic safety risk assessment.From five aspects of human,car,road,environment and management,the five major risk sources of traffic safety risk of arterial highway are established,and the key sub risk sources of each risk source are analyzed in combination with the traffic accidents data in Zhejiang and the knowledge of traffic safety theory.It will provide a theoretical basis for the next step to quantify the risk sources.On the basis of the analysis of various traffic safety risk assessment methods,the arterial highway risk assessment model is referred to the ?Guide for Implementation of Improve Highway Safety to Cherish the Life Project?,and the model is optimized according to the road conditions and traffic accident characteristics of the arterial highway.The risk grading standard of arterial highway traffic safety is formulated.At the same time,the risk sources are analyzed and quantified.In order to improve the safety of road operation,practical safety measures are put forward mainly from the two main aspects of road and management.Finally,a practical example is used to demonstrate the specific operation method of traffic risk assessment for arterial highway,and verify its feasibility and accuracy.
