In industry, higher and stricter requirements have been put forward on particle size measurement. In order to further improve the accuracy, rapidity and stability of particle size distribution measurement, the particle size measurement inversion algorithm is studied based on the light scattering method in this paper, which provides a new idea for online measurement of particle size.Aiming at the different information of particles covered by different wavelengths,an optimal wavelength selection method based on near-infrared-visible-near-ultraviolet three spectral intervals is chosen and simulated. The results show that for wide and narrow peak distribution the resulting measurement relative errors were 0.0601 and 0.0474,respectively.Not only can improve the measurement accuracy, but also can save the particle size distribution reconstruction time.In order to improve the speed of algorithm inversion, the ant colony algorithm and its application are studied. The probability density ant colony algorithm based on probability density function is proposed. The hybrid algorithm which combines the difference evolution algorithm and the probability density ant colony algorithm is proposed. The results show that the improved algorithm improves the number of iterations by about 100 generations, which can reduce the iteration time compared with the inversion by probability density ant colony algorithm. The idea of applying drosophila algorithm to particle size inversion is put forward. The drosophila algorithm calculation model is set up,and this paper integrates particle size measurement with drosophila algorithm. The simulation results show that the relative error of the single peak R-R function measured by the algorithm is 1.07% and the running time is 1.21 s,which shows better accuracy and speediness. The algorithm can be applied to the on-line measurement of particle size.
