At present,cryogenic distillation air separation unit(ASU)has been widely used in steel,petrochemical industry,coal chemical industry as well as the various fields.At the same time,along with the rapid development of computer technology,chemical process simulation software is also more and more applied to ASU process design and optimization.In this paper,the ASPENPLUS software is used to optimize the compressed air separation device in 66000Nm3·h-1.The main research is as follows:1.Setting up the ASU system model,by adjusting the materials into and out of the system and adjusting measures of the rectifying column reflux ratio,unchanging the production of HPGOX,LPGOX,LPGAN,the Nitrogen gas production is increased from 32100 Nm3·h-1 to 40000 Nm3·h-1,which provided theoretical basis for actual production.2.The simulation results are applied to two sets of 66000 Nm3·h-1 air separation devices in our company,and the results show that,by adjusting the operation of the distillates in the rectification tower,the purpose of Nitrogen gas stimulation can be achieved.In addition,the paper also optimizes the operation mode of the cryogenic liquid pump and the operation procedure of the adsorber,so as to make the air separation device more efficient and energy saving.3.The results show that:(1)After Nitroge increased,the Nitroge network is more stable and economical by adjusting the operation mode of nitrogen pump and Nitrogen compressor.(2)After Nitroge increased,the extraction rate of oxygen on ASU A/B were decreased by 1.14%and 0.10%,and the extraction rate of argon were raised 7.71%and 11.04%respectively.(3)Adjustment of the standby mode of cryogenic liquid pump,so as to make the air separation device more energy efficient on the basis of long period operation.(4)The optimized calculation of the adsorber is more intuitive and practical,so as to utilize the absorber margin in condition of safe operation.
