Abstract/Summary:
As an important part of our economic system,manufacturing industry plays an important role in promoting economic growth,solving employment and improving people’s livelihood.Since the reform and opening up,China’s manufacturing industry has also consumed a large number of fossil fuels as well,produced a huge amount of carbon emissions,also.Nowadays,China’s economic development has entered “new normal”.The economic growth rate has slowed down,and the government’s regulation of the environment has become more and more powerful.How to achieve carbon emissions reduction in manufacturing industry has become an important topic under the premise of maintaining growth.In the introduction part of the article,background and significance of the research are described,based on the analysis of the China’s manufacturing industry development situation to show the theoretical and practical importance of the research,after combing the related research progress of domestic carbon emissions calculation method,the factors affecting the carbon emissions analysis methods abroad.In the second chapter,some related concepts involved in this study and the basic theories involved in this study are clarified.In the third chapter,based on the related data of 1999-2014,this paper makes a quantitative analysis on the development and energy consumption of China’s manufacturing industry.The fourth chapter based on the carbon emissions coefficient of IPCC released on China’s manufacturing industries of carbon emissions status in the study period was analyzed,the industry production of China’s manufacturing industry carbon emission inventory,and in accordance with the carbon emissions in different sectors of the manufacturing industry will be divided into high,medium and low emissions of three types.The improved STIRPAT model is constructed based on the panel data model to analyze the factors which affecting carbon emissions of high,medium and low three types of manufacturing were analyzed.The study found that the manufacturing industry within the industry development level,industrystructure,energy consumption structure and energy intensity of manufacturing different types of China’s carbon emissions have significant effect.At the end of the article,I have summarized the main conclusions of this paper reflects on the shortcomings in the research,put forward the improvement measures in the future,the manufacturing industry to achieve low carbon development and put forward the following suggestions:industry structure interior modulation of the manufacturing industry,the manufacturing industry structure optimization and upgrading;improve energy structure,reduce the the coal in the proportion of manufacturing energy consumption;increase the investment in research and development of manufacturing industry,improve manufacturing technology,to establish enterprises in science and technology innovation system.
