The automobile brake caliper is one of the key parts in the automobile braking system.The brake caliper and the brake disc cooperate with each other to complete the braking function of the vehicle.Brake caliper is usually ductile cast iron,the hardness in HB220 or so,which has the characteristic of complex shape,special structure,high processing precision,strict technical requirements.Sawing,turning,broaching and other processing methods are difficult to complete the machining of its complex surface.Therefore,the milling of the brake caliper was usually done by milling.Milling is a machining material removal by milling cutter,with high production efficiency,high precision machining,a wide range of advantages,each capable of processing complex surface,so it was widely used in mould industry,textile machinery,bearing manufacturing and other fields.In this paper,the theoretical analysis and research on the large arc NC milling machine was carried out.First of all,according to the manufacture principle,the transmission mechanism,spindle mechanism,cutting mechanism and clamp mechanism is designed.Secondly,on the basis of the mechanism,the hydraulic driving system and nitrogen balance system was designed.Finally,according to the function requirements of the hardware architecture and control program,the electrical system is designed.In the first chapter,firstly,introduces the development of arc CNC milling machine background and significance,then introduces the research status at home and abroad CNC milling system,analyze the existing NC milling system deficiencies and defects,and puts forward to the research ideas of this project.In the second chapter,according to the requirements of design of milling system,the system process principle are introduced.Then,the milling system main shaft mechanism,transmission mechanism and the clamping mechanism and other parts of the system are introduced.Then,the nitrogen balance system fixture system hydraulic system and drive are introduced.Finally,from the aspects of framework,electrical the software program,the electrical system was introduced.In the third chapter,firstly,the finite element analysis for the milling system of lathe bed and base is carried out,the mechanical properties of the equivalent load body machine and base structure is analyzed,and the stress and strain distribution of the two key parts is obtained.Then the structure of the system is analyzed from thestress strain nephogram,and the rationality of the system design was verified by comparing the stress and strain value and the allowable value of the system operation.In the fourth chapter,firstly the mechanical milling system,the base and the bed cutter analysis was introduced,a number of the direction of the force and moment equilibrium equations was established,and the suggestions for optimization design system of mechanical mechanism was put forward.On the basis of the classical model of milling torque,cutter size and milling conditions are measured,and according to the calculation of milling the torque required to check the size of the spindle motor output torque,the rationality of the design was verified.In the fifth chapter,the design and implementation of the milling object system was described,the load modeling data curve of milling process was given,and the milling system and the workpiece photos before and after milling was given.In the sixth chapter,the main design process and research contents of the large arc NC milling machine are summarized.
