As the influence of energy saving and environmental protection,packaging of home appliances is developing towards greenization and light-weight.But as part of the design personnel lack of packaging theory and the limitation of enterprise project schedule,lead to a lot of home appliance packaging still used the over packaging structure.Meanwhile,the development of e-commerce has promoted the consumption of home appliance products,which has led to the increasing environmental pollution caused by home appliance packaging.In this thesis,a brand of European range hood was taken as the research object,and its packaging structure was designed and optimized in combination with finite element analysis and optimization method.Firstly,static compression tests were performed on the EPS cushion materials that were widely used in the original packaging of European range hoods,At the same time,the relevant fragility tests were carried out for the whole package.The stress-strain curve of the EPS cushion material was obtained,and the exhaust fume collecting hood was determined to be the product quick-wear part and its fragility under different drop conditions.Secondly,the preliminary packaging design of the hood was carried out,the layout of its standard fittings was planned,a three-dimensional model was established,and the assembled packaging was subjected to a drop simulation analysis to obtain the response acceleration of the quick-wear parts,and compared with the above tests,so the feasibility of the initial packaging scheme and the stress cloud and displacement value of the cushion were determined.Thirdly,the method of equivalent static load was applied to the static transformation of the dynamic load of the cushion under the drop condition.The resulting static load was used as the initial load on the cushion structure topology optimization,and a drop analysis was performed on the topologically optimized cushion model to determine the feasibility of the topological structure.Finally,we discussed the influence of bottom,side and front cushion thickness with the response acceleration of hood under bottom drop,end drop,front drop and corner drop,and drew the curves and the response surface,and used it as the constraint condition to establish the mathematical model of cushion size optimization,used MATLAB software to compile and calculate it,and made a prototype package for testing.The results showed that the size optimized cushion packing meets the requirements of the relevant product fragility,and its quality was reduced by 41.compared to the preliminary design.The optimization of the European style hood cushion packaging design in this thesis,not only had the overall layout of the standard fittings,made the packaging to protect products in the online shopping logistics environment,but also reduced the application of packaging materials,the pollution of the packaging to the environment and energy consumption.It has furthered the standards for green packaging and low-carbon packaging,while also reducing packaging costs and improving the market competitiveness of enterprises.In addition,we try to optimize the design process of home appliance packaging,and provide a basis for designers to design products packaging rationally without material dynamic cushioning curves.
