Geological Park is a special and rare geological relic landscape.It is a natural park integrating geology science,ecological landscape,and cultural landscape.It has high scientific value,aesthetic value,popular science value and tourism development value.However,the geopark ecosystem is fragile and vulnerable to human activities.With the intensification of geopark development activities,geoparks have experienced a series of social and environmental problems.All this has prompted people to think about the healthy development of tourism in geoparks.The environmental carrying capacity of geological park recreation area is an important index to measure the sustainable development of tourism.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to systematically carry out the research on the theory of environmental carrying capacity and the quantification methods of geological park recreation area.At present,the research on the environmental carrying capacity of recreational parks in geological parks is not yet mature,and a complete evaluation system and evaluation method for environmental carrying capacity of recreational parks in geological parks have not been formed yet.This paper analyzes the necessity,importance,purpose and significance of the study on the environmental carrying capacity of the recreation area of the geopark.A comprehensive analysis of the research progress at home and abroad was conducted and the problems and shortcomings of the current research were obtained.The main research contents,methods and technical routes of the thesis were then planned.At the same time A comprehensive overview of the basic characteristics and functions of the environmental carrying capacity of the Recreation Area in the Geopark is provided,which will lay a foundation for the construction of the evaluation index system of the environmental carrying capacity of the Recreation Area in the Geopark.Next,Relying on P-S-R model,According to the principle,setting method and basis of the evaluation index system,The PSR assessment model of the environmental carrying capacity of recreation areas in geological parks was constructed through frequency statisticsanalysis and expert consultation.The model indicators covered 14 indicators of natural,economic,and social three bearing capacity components.The expert survey method and the analytic hierarchy process are combined to determine the index weights,the fuzzy mathematics method is used to determine the grade membership degree,and the comprehensive evaluation model is finally determined.Last,Taking BaTaishan Geopark as an example,the current status of recreational area in the study area is obtained,and the limitation and contribution degree of each single factor index as well as the subordinate grade are analyzed.According to the problems existing in the development of Bataishan Geopark,the protective strategy is put forward to make the recreation industry of the geopark develop healthily and steadily.
