The Japan's food packaging design is unique and flies one's own colours in the world.The root cause is that Japanese food packaging design is rooted in the soil of Japanese traditional culture.Japanese designers combine western advanced design concepts with national traditional culture.All forms an international style.It also does not lose the unique charm of food packaging design.Through the analysis of the main influencing factors about Japan's unique geographical location,material background,life customs,religious aesthetics and traditional painting and so on,I study the application and characteristics of Japanese national culture in food packaging design,analyze the application of Japanese national culture in different visual elements,expound the unique form and style of Japanese national culture.At the same time,the influence of Japanese national culture on modern food packaging design is discussed,Analyze the future development trend.This thesis hopes that through a lot of analysis the food packaging design with Japanese national culture,it can inspire the development of Chinese food packaging design,and promote the inheritance and innovation of Chinese traditional culture.
