Diamond circular saw blade having large diameter and thickness and belonging to sheet tolls is the main tool of cutting stone,and have the limited capacity to resist the bending.The blade with narrow saw road and poor heat dissipation will generate axial deformation and thermal deflection during it works,which could lead to serious vibration.Resonance would be caused if the frequency of the vibration is close to those of other exciting forces.If the vibration is too strong,the blade can be damaged and the noise pollution can be caused,which has a bad effect on the operator and the equipment.Therefore,trying to reduce the vibration and noise can not only help to improve quality of production,but also be helpful to our health.Although there are certain researches on vibrations and noise of blade,the most small saw blade companies can't produce the blade independently,they determine the position of the hole used for reducing noise on blade by referencing or imitating other manufacturers.Such a mode of production can make them obtain certain economic benefits in a short period of time,but the technical which they really need can't be obtained.Therefore study on diamond circular saw blade vibration and noise reduction is necessary.The vibration and noise of the diamond circular saw blade was investigated in this thesis.Firstly,the vibration and noise of the blade with the diameter of 500mm are tested experimently,then the blade matrix was optimized topologielly by ANSYS,finally,the position of the holes on blade was determined.The research content is divided into three parts as following:(1)Noise analysis of diamond saw blade.The effects of the cutting parameters(blade rotational speed,depth of cut,feed rate),saw blade diameter,friction coefficient on the noise were tested by sound level meter,respectively.A formula,in which the noise is expressed as the function of seven factors including the speed,feed rate,depth of cut,diameter,thickness,friction influence coefficient and tooth number,is proposed.And the measure of reducing the vibration and noise was given for the production and the application of the blade.(2)Studying on vibration characteristics of diamond saw blades.The dynamic characteristics of the blade was captured by dynamic signal testing system,which was used to analyzing the frequencies,the mode of vibration and the damping ratios.Based on the analysis of the results,some methods of reducing the vibration and noise were advised in this thesis,which laid a foundation of saw blades optimization.(3)Optimization design of diamond saw blade.The 3D model of diamond saw blade was optimized by ANSYS.The position and shape of the hole on blade were determined,and the optimized blade was produced.The noise and vibration for the optimized blade was tested experimently and compared with those unoptimized,which validated the accuracy of the optimized method.The study on the noise and vibration characteristics of diamond circular saw blade provides some reference for the design and technological parameter of blades.The successful application of the topology optimization has certain reference value to the production and manufacturing of saw blades.
