Qinghai million tons potash project is the first ten key construction projects of the western development,and the comprehensive control system of the compressor unit of the methanol production unit is the sub project.The compressor is the core component in the process of methanol production,and the design of perfect compressor control system is of great significance.This topic use the methanol production project as the background,after the full understanding of the methanol production process and compressor control requirements,causes and characteristics of compressor interlock logic and compressor surge were analyzed,with GE's genius modular redundancy(referred to as the GMR)as the core system,designed a triple redundancy integrated compressor control system based on GMR.The control system redundanted configuration of the input,output,power supply and communication network,improves the safety and reliability of the compressor control system;at the same time,designed the compressor interlock protection scheme,and developed a man-machine interface to achieve monitoring the running state of the system.By means of analysised the surge principle of centrifugal compressor,we presented an anti surge strategy to control the compressor speed and pressure as a double closed loop.While taking into account of the traditional PID control algorithm is difficult to debugg,the adjustment time is long,which is difficult to achieve the optimal control effect.So the control algorithm was improved,which speed loop use based on genetic algorithm fuzzy control,pressure closed loop use fuzzy PID control algorithm.The simulation results show that the improved algorithm can effectively shorten the system adjusting time,reduces the system maximum overshoot,enhanced the dynamic performance of the control system,better to prevent the occurrence of surge phenomenon,which provided a solution for the further optimization of the system.System of trial operation results show that the design of the control system has good safety,high reliability,clear control effect,strong ability of upgrading,friendly human-computer interaction,openness and great expansibility,can meet the control requirements of the production of methanol and has high research significance and value to popularize in chemical industry automation control field.
