There are many connections between plant volatiles and insects,which affect the behavior of insects.Trabala vishnou gigantina is a defoliator of Hippophae rhamnoides and survive in the blade surface.In order to explore the regulation function of plant volatiles to Trabala vishnou gigantina and use plant volatiles to monitor and control Trabala vishnou gigantina.In this study,the optimal mix of the volatile compounds was studied by electrophysiological activity,wind tunnel behavior response and field trapping test.And the synergistic effect between the sex pheromone and the volatiles of host plant was studied.GC-EAD and GC-MS experiments indicated that antennae of male moth responded to the following volatile compounds from Hippophae rhamnoides:1-butanol,3-heptanone,a-pinene,3-methyl-1-butanol,6-methyl-5-hexenal-2-one,a-terpinenol,2-ethyl-2-hexenal,3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6-octatrien e,a-ocimene,nonanal and longifolene;the antennae of female moth responded to the following volatile compounds:1-butanol,3-methyl-l-butanol,2-ethyl-2-Hexenal,nonanal,2-ethylhexyl acetate,benzothiazole,longifolene and ?-caryophylene.The reaction of different doses of the active compound showed that the EAG reaction values of male and female moth increased with the increase of the concentration,and reached its saturation concentration at the concentration of 0.1mol/L.In the whole trend,the EAG responses of male moths were significantly higher than those of female moths.Wind tunnel behavior of these compounds by applying the method of eliminating components observation,the results show that the hippophae rhamnosides as control group,all of male and female adult with physiological activity components mixed content(BLE-1)can produce yellow oak leaves equally moth of male and female adult fly against the wind.The male moth,when BLE-1 removed 6-methyl-5-HEPTENE-2-ketone,2-ethyl-2-hexenal,Longifolene in any one of the components,will cause the male moth headwind was significantly decreased;To seduce female moth is the key role of 3-methyl butyl alcohol,2-ethyl-2-hexene aldehydes,longifolene.Field test using the software design expert 8.0.6 to design,to avoid a large number of repeated tests,fitting to get the best mix of programs:when the doses of 1-butanol,6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one,2-ethyl-2-hexenal,longliene and 3-methylbutanol were 10.75 mg,20.0 mg,19.07 mg,18.62 mg and 20.0 mg,the average daily trapping volume was the largest 4.9 moths.The results show that host volatiles play an significant role in Trabala vishnou gigantina host recognition.The results of this study could lay a foundation for further clarifying the relationship between the volatile components of plants and the behavioral responses of insects,and provide the basis for effective control of the Trabala vishnou gigantina.
