Regional Difference Analysis Of City Leisure Index Based On Coefficient Of Variation And Theil Index

In recent years,the economic development of China has entered a new normal.The concept of pursuing rapid economic growth has begun to change,the New Era Socialism with Chinese Characteristics point out that the main contradiction has been transformed into "the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and the development of inadequate imbalances." How to build a modern city that meets the residents’ leisure needs has become an important topic of urban construction.This paper comprehensively uses the method of theoretical research,data analysis and comparative analysis,and try to evaluate the achievement of the construction of leisure cities more objectively.Firstly,this paper systematically combs the related basic concepts and theories of Leisure City,defines the scope of this study.Secondly,by referring to the evaluation methods of similar indicators,it determines the basic principles of index system construction and analysis,and then constructs an appropriate evaluation system of Leisure City indicators.Finally,36 key cities in China are selected as the research objects,and empirical research is carried out by using the methods of Coefficient of Variation and Theil Index.According to the results of empirical analysis,the main problems existing in the construction of Leisure Cities in China can be discovered.Firstly,the level of urban leisure in China is quite different,and shows different characteristics in various fields.At present,the economic development level of each city is quite different,and the gap in the field of health care is the most prominent.Secondly,the development of urban leisure among the Four Major Economic Regions of China is uncoordinated;the polarization between eastern and western regions is serious.The eastern region plays a leading role in the whole country,while the western region is the weakest area in terms of urban leisure construction.Thirdly,regional differences are the main causes of regional differences in Leisure Cities in China,especially in public infrastructure and leisure economic strength.At last,according to the Five Concepts for Development,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are given.
