After the completion of the Human Genome Project,there has been an upsurge in miRNA research.Although,a large number of studies have shown that miRNAs are not involved in coding proteins,they are widely involved in the regulation of human-encoded gene expression,and approximately 30%of human coding genes are regulated by miRNAs at different levels.With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology and microarray technology,function of miRNAs that have been confirmed to have increased dramatically.This makes it possible to conduct in-depth research on miRNA functions through scientific calculations,and to mine potential association rules between miRNAs and diseases,and conduct deeply analysis and research on miRNA regulation mechanisms.Firstly,on the basis of the original human miRNA enrichment analysis tool TAM.In this paper,we collect the relevant miRNA data from the authoritative database including miRBase and HMDD,and organize the data,update the miRNAs function set,the miRNAs family set,the miRNA cluster set and the miRNA set related to the disease in the original database.In addition,in order to fully exploit up-and-down regulates function of human miRNAs in diseasest,we first set up up-and-down regulates miRNA databases related disease.Secondly,we designed and implemented a Web version of TAM 2.0 system.The system adds the function of analyzing the correlation between the miRNA list given by the user and the miRNA up-and-down-regulation data collection,and visualizes the analysis results,facilitating the user dissect the correlation on miRNA up-or down-regulated related to the disease.In response to the dramatic increase in the number of miRNA sets,the TAM 2.0 system has also increased the ability to query miRNA sets,save results,and visualize the results,making it easier for users to analyze miRNAs.Finally,in order to make the database of miRNAs universal,it is easier to promote them,under the condition of without network,miRNA can be conveniently enriched.Based on the wxPython Library of Python,we designs and implements a standalone TAMgui corresponding to TAM 2.0 system.It has features that support downloaded offline,used without a network,and more user-friendly.
