Effects Of Biocharcoal On Arrhenatherum Elatius Growth In Aeolian Sandy Soil

China is one of the countries with large desert area,wide distribution and serious desertification hazards in the world.In view of the barren characteristics of wind-blown sandy soil in desertified land of Northwest Liaoning Province(taking Zhanggutai as an example),aiming at improving the soil,promoting plant production and ecological restoration,three kinds of biochar(peat,charcoal and straw charcoal)were used as the main modifiers in this study,according to different dosages(0kg/m~2,1 kg/m~2,2 kg/m~2,3kg/m~2,4 kg/m~2,5 kg/m~2)and wind-blown sandy soil.Sandy soil is mixed to form matrix soil.By measuring the physiological indexes of oat grass(Arrhenatherum elatius)planted on the improved soil,the effects of three kinds of biochar on the improvement of aeolian sandy soil were explored.The main conclusions are as follows:The effect of straw charcoal was better than that of charcoal and peat through the determination of physiological indexes of oat grass by the application of three kinds of biochar.Under the action of straw charcoal,the plant height,yield,nutrient absorption and chlorophyll of oat grass increased obviously,but in the second year,nutrient absorption decreased.It is inferred that the nutrient absorption will be inhibited in the next year when the concentration is added.Under the effect of straw charcoal,the above indicators of oat grass were significantly improved,and the best of the three groups of biochar was discarded in the second year without inhibition.Based on the results of two years' measurement,the effect of straw charcoal in the initial two years has not changed significantly.According to the results of oat straw indices determined in this experiment,when the addition of straw charcoal was 3kg/m~2,the growth promotion effect of oat straw was the best.
