Research On Enterprise Value Of Geographic Information Service Enterprises Based On EVA Valuation Method

The geographic information industry is booming.Under the promotion of policies,investment and financing activities are hot,which requires accurate judgment of the value of enterprises.The enterprises have unique business model,seasonal fluctuations of revenue recognition and payment collection,which must be considered in valuation.Can the traditional valuation method still reasonably?If not,how to reasonably evaluate?There is no standard,in practice can only use p/e ratio,the reference value is low.Based on this,the research object is determined:enterprise value of geographic information service.Through literature review,three phenomena were found.First,scholars began to put enterprise value assessment on the strategic level to investigate^[1-3].Second,most scholars improve the existing valuation model for more reasonably^[4-10].The improved model becomes more complicated and complex,and is not widely used in practice.Third,application research of EVA valuation model is only limited to the Internet and e-commerce^[11,12].Based on the literature review and the research object,two research questions are put forward.One is why EVA method is chosen.Second,how to apply it.This paper adopts the case study method.Firstly,through the industry analysis,combs the influencing factors of evaluation,judges the limitations of the commonly used method,and illustrates the advantages of EVA method.Secondly,puts forward the application process improvement idea.Then,through the case analysis to verify whether the improved method is effective;Finally,conclusions and Suggestions on general applicability are summarized and extracted from case analysis.The findings are as follows:first,EVA valuation method based on the perspective of enterprise strategy is more suitable for the evaluation of geographic information service enterprises;Second,the enterprises need to understand their own development stage before valuation,and follow the principle of simplicity in the valuation process.Third,non-financial factors or life cycle should be appropriately introduced.EVA accounting adjustment should be determined on the basis of a full understanding of the industry and enterprise.The feature of this paper lies in the application of valuation method.When the method is used,don't change itself,but the application process of it for improvement,from previous EVA financial to the strategy perspective,standing on the qualitative analysis in the dynamic environment of enterprise development strategy,a closer observation of the formation mechanism of the intrinsic value of the enterprise,combining qualitative evaluation with quantitative evaluation.
