After the reform and opening-up,China's economy has developed rapidly and people's living standards have improved.But with it,more and more domestic garbage has been accumulated,which not only pollutes the city's environment,but also indirectly affects people's physical and mental health.Of course,this situation has occurred in all countries of the world.Nowadays,sanitary landfill is the most important method to deal with domestic waste in various countries.The establishment of landfill sites will cause potential harm to the surrounding soil,groundwater and environment,and unreasonable site selection will cause disastrous harm to the environment over time.On the premise of domestic laws,regulations and standards on landfill site selection,this paper fully considers various factors affecting landfill site selection,including natural geographical conditions,geological conditions,hydrological conditions,environmental protection conditions,economic conditions and other factors,and introduces GIS technology into the problem of landfill site selection.Through buffer analysis and overlay analysis of GIS analysis function,this paper introduces GIS technology into the problem of landfill site selection.Attribute analysis identified three primary sites,and three primary sites were obtained.One of them is the current landfill site in the region.It shows that the results of landfill analysis using GIS are credible.In the results of the primary selection,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to evaluate the suitability of the three primary sites,calculate the weight of the impact factors,and calculate the comprehensive weight to select the best location scheme from the three primary sites.Relying on the platform of GIS and utilizing the intuitive features of spatial analysis function,this paper chooses three candidate addresses,and then uses the analytic hierarchy process to select the best landfill site.The combination of GIS and AHP technology can greatly shorten the period of site selection and enhance the reliability of site selection.Therefore,GIS-AHP technology is a better method for landfill site selection.This method is also suitable for other location problems.Figure 21,Table 21,Reference 55.
