Research On Measuring The Regional Economic Connection Between Central Cities In The Whole Area Of Hangzhou Bay

In order to accelerate "one belt,one road" and the Yangtze River Delta integration development strategy and focus on the development of the bay area economy,the Hangzhou Bay area is an important sector to promote the development of the southeast coastal region of China.It is the second largest Bay Area in China after Guangdong-hong Kong-macao Bay area,which is officially established and is upgraded to the national strategy.The construction of the the whole area of Hangzhou Bay area is also on the agenda.However,as a free and open whole system,every city in the bay area does not exist in isolation.The development degree of the whole area depends on the close degree of economic connection and the interaction between the central cities in the bay area to a great extent.Therefore,it is helpful to study the level of economic connection among the cities in the bay area and analyze the development priorities and directions among the cities to achieve the overall balanced development of the bay area economy.Based on the relevant theories of regional economic connection,this paper explains the internal essence of regional economic connection,reveals the five factors that affect the level of regional economic connection in Bay area,and constructs a set of indexes of regional economic connection potential,industrial structure complementarity,market integration level and geo-economic relationship.In this paper,seven central cities around Hangzhou Bay area are taken as the research objects,and the established index system is used to measure and study the level of economic connection between central cities in 2017.According to the measured results,the comprehensive index of regional economic ties between central cities around Hangzhou Bay area and the level of overall economic connection of single city are obtained,and the Hangzhou Bay area is analyzed Based on the characteristics and problems of the economic relations among the central cities,this paper puts forward suggestions on the future development direction and economic industry development strategy of the central cities around Hangzhou Bay.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)there are great regional differences in the level of economic connection between the cities around Hangzhou Bay,showing the current characteristics that the central and western regions are superior to the southeast,and the central point effect of Shanghai and Hangzhou is obvious;(2)the most important factors affecting the level of regional economic connection between the central cities around Hangzhou Bay are the comprehensive competitiveness and traffic factors of the city;(3)the high-speed rail plays a crucial role in promoting the regional economic connection among central cities;(4)there is industrial isomorphism in the cities around Hangzhou Bay,and the level of regional division and cooperation needs to be improved;(5)the overall market integration degree of Hangzhou Bay area is not high,and the geo-economic relations are not obvious;(6)The countermeasures and suggestions for the overall development of social economy in the region are to highlight the core strategic position of Shanghai,Hangzhou and Ningbo,adhere to the integration of regional transportation,strengthen the division of labor and complement of industrial structure,and improve the market environment.
