The traditional genetic data sharing model is centered on genomics companies.Users need to pay genomics companies and provide DNA samples.After the genomics company tests the DNA samples,it will get genetic data and a genetic analysis report.The user Only obtain genetic analysis reports,and genomics companies have ownership of genetic data and can sell genetic data to research institutions.This middleman model will result in unreasonable pricing of genetic data due to monopoly,and also exist the risk of personal privacy leakage.This is an important reason why most people resist gene sequencing,which seriously hinders the development of genomics.Blockchain technology can effectively solve the problems in the process of sharing genetic data,because the blockchain itself has the characteristics of decentralization and data tampering.The combination of blockchain and cloud storage to store genetic data can ensure the safe storage,and compress the genetic data,which can achieve efficient transmission and storage.With smart contract,it can ensure that the transaction can be traced,resisted denial and irreversible.Finally,proxy re-encryption technology is used to implement access authorization of genetic data.This method can not only protect the privacy of the data owner,but also achieve data sharing access authorization.This paper builds a blockchain system through Hyperledger Fabric,and implements functional modules on it,and finally builds a personal genetic data sharing platform based on blockchain.All modules were functionally tested to ensure the usability of the entire system.Hyperledger caliper blockchain performance evaluation framework was used to test the performance of the blockchain system.The experimental results showed that the peak read/write throughput of the blockchain system was 125 tps and 56 tps,can fully meet the needs of real use scenarios.The personal genetic data sharing method based on blockchain proposed in this paper effectively solves the problems of safe data storage,trusted transactions and user privacy protection,and truly realizes safe and reliable genetic data Sharing.It will attract more people to actively participate in the process of sharing genetic data,maximize the value of genetic data,help to break the fragmentation of genetic data and accelerate the development of genomics.
