Durning geological exploration,the determination of parameters of soil strength is an important part of engineering survey.Triaxial test is a common method to obtain soil strength parameters.However,due to complexity of equipment components and operations,high requirements for operators,the correctness and reliability of soil strength parameters cannot be guaranted,engineers often face a variety of test errors and even wrong test results.In order to assist engineers and studens more intuitively understand the common errors of triaxial test,reasonably correct error and carry out further exploratory tests,this study developed a triaxial test system based on virtual reality technology,with function of intelligent data error correction and data establishment.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)The overall functional framework of triaxial test that based on virtual reality was determined,and framework of virtual reality system of triaxial test was established.The three-dimensional modeling software was used to model and simulate the experimental instruments,and a triaxial test system was developed.Based on the concept of digital twins,this study mapped equipment components,data distribution and operation actions of the real triaxial test in the virtual reality system.As different from the traditional roaming virtual reality system,this study firstly implemented the human-computer interaction system of the triaxial test,and solved the technical problems such as scene transient shift and picking up and installing objects.(2)Systematically studied error mechanism in the triaxial test,and based on different error mechanisms,error phenomenon was repeated,and cause of the error was analyzed,and source of the error data was traced in the virtual reality system.Therefore,engineers and students can repeat trial and error,solved the problem,which is professional students can not understand deeply according to the standard mechanical operation.(3)Combined with the triaxial test results of a variety of common soil samples in the laboratory,a set of data establishment methods for the whole process of backpressure saturation,consolidation drainage,and undrained shearing of triaxial tests on conventional soils were proposed,and arbitrary test parameters were established based on the mathematical model of the common triaxial test of soil.By scaling down the existing test results,the triaxial test results under different shear rate conditions are obtained,the soil property range and the test parameter setting range are expanded,and a range of coverage is obtained.This study completed a set of triaxial tests system based on virtual reality technology,and implemented two basic functions of the triaxial tests that based on virtual reality system,error correction mechanism and data establishment.
