China's economy is developing rapidly, and at the same time, its carbon dioxide emissions are also increasing. The country needs to reduce and control carbon emissions and take a green and sustainable development path.On the way of exploring carbon reduction, some developed countries have made many excellent experiences and obtained many successful results. But for China,it is not advisable to take a good road abroad directly. We should consider the actual situation of our country and find a suitable development route for China.Firstly, this paper makes a descriptive statistical analysis of China's energy consumption and carbon emissions, including China's total energy consumption,China's energy consumption structure, total carbon emissions, carbon emissions per capita, etc. The carbon emission per capita in five years is predicted. Then, guided by the relevant theories of carbon emission at home and abroad, based on the STIRPAT model, this paper explores the factors affecting China's carbon emission. The independent variables are divided into population, wealth and technology, which are subdivided into population, population urbanization rate,GDP per capita, etc. Finally,it is concluded that the increase of these factors will promote the increase of carbon emissions per capita in China.Among them, the industrial structure has a greater impact on China's a carbon emissions per capit. What's more,Germany,a developed country,is selected to conduct a comparative study of carbon emissions with China. The indicators selected in the previous chapter will be sorted out and optimized. The newly added indicators are carbon intensity and renewable energy production.Taking these eight indicators as the comparison sequence and the total carbon emission as the main sequence.By using the method of grey correlation analysis, the degree of affinity between the two countries' carbon emission influencing factors is sorted out.According to the comparison results,we can learn from Germany's emission reduction methods, and find out the carbon reduction path in line with China's national conditions.Based on the empirical analysis, the suggestions are divided into four aspects:(1)Improve technical level and adjust energy structure.(2)Optimize industrial structure and train high-end talents.(3)Pay attention to urban emission, control and guide reasonably.(4)Refine the relevant laws and ensure the effective implementation of laws.
