Study On Geological Aesthetics Of Yulin Mahuangliang Loess

With the continuous progress of human society and social level,tourism has become one of the main ways of human life.Located in the northern margin of the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi,Mahuangliang has a unique loess landform,landscape and geological relics,and it contains important aesthetic value.It constantly attracts tourists from home and abroad to visit,appreciate and travel,and welcomes numerous art students to copy,sketch and create.Through collection and collation of relative literatures,field investigation and analytic hierarchy process,this paper mainly studied and analyzed the types and characteristics of the loess landscape geological remains in Mahuangliang of Yulin,and revealed the aesthetic characteristics and value of the loess geological remains.The main results are as follows.(1)It is basically found that the strata in Mahuangliang area of Yulin are composed of five units,including Quaternary Wucheng loess,Lishi loess,Sarawusu formation,Malan loess and aeolian sand,which provides conditions and basis for in-depth study of the geological relics characteristics of loess in this area.(2)We have found out the loess geological remains in Mahuangliang area of Yulin mainly include four types,including loess hilltop forest geomorphologic landscape,quaternary stratigraphic profile,Przeda mustang paleontological fossil and desert geomorphologic landscape.According to the classification principle of geological relics,the study area has been divided into five categories,six categories and nine subcategories.(3)According to the particularity of geological relics,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was used to construct a three-level aesthetic value evaluation system of loess geological relics with three categories of formal beauty,scientific beauty and spiritual beauty as upper indexes.(4)Through the qualitative and quantitative evaluation,Mahuangliang loess has high scientific value of geological remains,unique landscape,large scale and the characteristics of various types and high aesthetic appreciation.Its aesthetic value grade comprehensive evaluation results for V,namely good level.This study is a tentative study on the aesthetics of loess geological relics,and provides references for the exploration of the inner relationship between geology and aesthetics,the appreciation of geological aesthetics,the popularization of geoscience and the construction of geological parks.
