Identification And Risk Assessment Of Hidden Disaster-causing Geological Factors In Hancheng Mining Area

The hidden disasters-causing geological factor in coal mines is the root cause resulting in mine geological disasters.It is an important guarantee for coal mining in safety and high-efficiency to enhance the study of mine hidden disasters-causing geological factors.Starting with the analysis of typical geological hazards in coal mine,the connotation,characteristics and disaster-mechanism of hidden disasters-causing geological factors are researched in this paper.Based on the research literatures and related specifications on mine geological disasters,the identification rules and risk assessment methods of mine hidden disasters-causing geological factors are proposed.The main hidden disasters-causing geological factors in the Hancheng Mining Area are identified and its distribution characteristics are found out.Furthermore,the danger division and evaluation are made by means of K-means clustering,"fragility index" and other quantitative analysis methods.Finally,measures to prevent and control mine geological disasters are proposed.This paper considers that "mine hidden disasters-causing geological factors" refers to geological hazard source bodies existing in coal seams or their surrounding rocks which may result in serious geological disasters such as mine water,fire,gas,coal dust,roof and rock burst due to coal mining.The geological hazard source body has following characters,geological source,concealment,triggerability and controllability.The geological hazard source body is the material basis of geological disasters in mines.Coal-mining activities are necessary condition to trigger geological disasters.Geological and human influencing factors may increase or reduce the risk of geological disasters.All the mine hidden disasters-causing geological factors in the Hancheng Mining Area are recognized according to the identification rules established in this paper.The major hidden disasters-causing geological factors in the research area are Ordovician karst water and gas occurring in coal seams and their surrounding rocks,with risks of following disasters,coal dust explosion,roof collapse,rock burst.Spontaneous combustion of coal seams and roof water hazard are relatively not easy to happen in the research area.The most serious threat comes from gas in Xiayukou Minefield,Sangshuping Minefield and Xuefeng Exploration Area.The bottom floor water hazard danger zones are mainly located in Xuefeng Exploration Area and Xiangshan Minefield in the northeast and southeast margins of the Hancheng Mining Area.The danger zones of general hidden disasters-causing geological factors,such as roof collapse,coal dust explosion and rock burst,are delineated in the study area.In order to exploit coal resources safely and efficiently,coalmines have to enhance the precise localization and dynamic monitoring of disaster-pregnant factors,ascertain the relationship between the influence factors and mine geological disasters and their spatial distribution pattern,and take effective technical measures to prevent and control mine geological hazards.Simultaneously,it is very important to remedy management deficiencies and completely eradicate human unsafe behaviors.
