Spatial Analysis Of Guangdong GDP Based On Nighttime Lighting Data

As the first stop of China's reform and opening up,Guangdong Province's GDP has always been in the forefront of the country.In July 2017,the state officially signed the framework agreement on the construction of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Bay area,striving to build a world-class city cluster.The advantages of national policy support and inborn position add to the development of Guangdong Province.Even so,there are still some problems in Guangdong Province,such as unbalanced development,inadequate development and so on.It not only affects the economic development of Guangdong Province,but also has a certain negative effect on the national economic development.These problems have been highly concerned by all sectors of society.It is urgent to study the real economic development level and the spatial and temporal characteristics of economic distribution in Guangdong Province.However,the traditional GDP statistics can only measure the regional economic level on the unit of administrative divisions,which can not reflect the internal economic development and distribution characteristics.With the development of GIS and RS technology,the spatialization of GDP came into being.With the help of "3S" technology and the idea of sub industry modeling,Guangdong's GDP spatialization of 1992-2013 long-term time series is completed based on DMSP / OLS night light index,and the spatial dimension of GDP Spatialization in 2010 and 2013 is completed to obtain the corresponding GDP density map.By analyzing the spatial results of GDP in two dimensions,the spatial-temporal characteristics of economic development and the differences of economic distribution in Guangdong Province are obtained.In addition,NPP / viirs night lighting image is used to realize the spatial GDP of Guangdong Province from 2013 to 2018,and the advantages and disadvantages of DMSP / OLS and NPP / viirs night lighting data applied to the spatial GDP are compared.The main research contents are as follows:(1)In terms of time dimension,according to the idea of sub industry modeling,the land use data of 1992-2013 and the GDP prediction of the first industry of Guangdong Province in corresponding years are completed.The DMSP / OLS night light index is used to fit the GDP of the second and third industries of Guangdong Province,and the GDP prediction model is obtained,and the GDP density map of the second and third industries of Guangdong Province in 1992-2013 is obtained.(2)In the spatial dimension,using the GDP of Guangdong province in 2010 and 2013 and the DMSP/OLS night light index to build the GDP prediction model,we can get a more comprehensive and detailed GDP density map reflecting the economic distribution differences of Guangdong province.(3)Based on the analysis of the spatial results of GDP in two dimensions,this paper concludes the spatial-temporal and economic distribution differences of economic development in Guangdong Province in 22 years,divides cities into four types of economic development,and puts forward relevant suggestions for the economic development of Guangdong Province.(4)Comparing the spatial results of GDP of DMSP / OLS and NPP / viirs nighttime lighting data,there are both unity and difference between them.
