| In recent years,hydrophilic revetment is one of the hottest issues in coastal engineering.Compared with traditional revetment structure,the hydrophilic revetment pays more attention to meet people’s need for being close to water on the premise of guaranteeing the basic functions of wave prevention,wave attenuation and shore line protection.At present,the hydrophilic design of revetment is generally to reduce the crest elevation of the revetment by adopting slope-type revetment,or arranging auxiliary structures such as armor blocks with obvious wave energy dissipation effects,and submerged breakwater,and then the distance between people and water surface will be shorten to achieve the hydrophilic effect.However,in order to reduce the wave overtopping rate behind the revetment and to ensure the safety of land facilities,in actual engineering application,the top of the revetment still needs to be at a certain height from the water surface,which will greatly reduce the hydrophilic effect.After analyzing the advantages and limitations of several examples of hydrophilic revetment projects,this paper proposes a revetment type with multi-stage hydrophilic platform.By allowing the occurrence of overtopping when designing the elevation of platforms,the hydrophilic effect of the revetment will be greatly improved.This paper uses open source Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)software Open FOAM to establish a two-dimensional wave numerical flume.Based on the wave numerical flume,this paper simulates the hydrodynamic characteristics of the revetment with multi-stage hydrophilic platform under the conditions of the design high water level and the design low water level.The verification process of the mathematical model is to compare the numerical simulation results of the two-dimensional wave flume with the theoretical analysis results,and the fitting results are good.Therefore,the mathematical model can well simulate the required wave elements such as wave height,wave length and period.Then the mathematical model is used to research the hydrodynamic characteristics of the two hydrophilic platforms under the conditions of different water levels respectively.Based on the numerical calculation results of the wave set-up on the hydrophilic platform,the striking distance of the wave overtopping,the range of the wave overtopping impact,the velocity distribution along the course,this paper discusses the distribution of the period and the relative height of different hydrophilic platforms on the wave set-up on the hydrophilic platform,the impact point of the wave overtopping,the range of the wave overtopping impact,the velocity distribution along the course were and the dynamic water pressure on stepped kick surfaces connecting two layers of hydrophilic platforms.Finally,based on the results of above analysis,the hydrophilic ability and safety performance of the revetment with multi-stage hydrophilic platform designed in this paper will be further discussed,such as the parts of the revetment can be improved. |
