Systematic Study Of Rhogogaster Konow(Hymenoptera:Tenthredinidae)

Rhogogaster Konow,1884,belongs to Hymenoptera,Symphyta,Tenthredinoide,Tenthredinidae,which is a group mainly distributed in the palaearctic region.The first systematic research on the genus Rhogogaster was carried out in this paper.The domestic and foreign overviews of the genus were sorted out.The key of 9 groups is given,and molecular phylogenetic analysis were studiedBy reviewing the literature and carefully checking the specimens,this genus is divided into 9 groups based on the key morphological characteristics of the genus Rhogogaster:R.picta group,R.lateraria group,R.foveata group,R.opacella group,R.californica group,R.stigmata group,R.robusta group,R.punctulata group,R.viridis group.A separate group search form and various group clock search forms were prepared.A total of 42 species are described and distribution records are given,including 8 undocumented new species,and 10 species have complete morphological descriptions,and 21 species have plates(adult dorsal view;?:head in dorsal view and front view,antenna,mesepisternum and mesepimeron in lateral view,ovipositor sheath in lateral view,mesoscutellum and appendage in dorsal view,hypopygum,Tarsomeres and claw of hind leg,lancet and the middle serrulae;(?):genital plate in ventral view,gonoforceps,penis valve),specimen inspection,identification characteristics;31 of them have complete citations.The morphological phylogenetic tree was constructed using the maximal parsimony method,and the results showed that the monophyletism of genus Rhogogaster is supported.A phylogenetic tree was constructed using COI data set and based on maximum likelihood method showed that COI data supports Rhogogaster's single lineage and supports the division of Rhogogaster into two subgenus Rhogogaster((R.viridis group+R.robusta group)+R.californica group),Cytisogaster(R.picta group+(R.lateraria group+R.punctulata group))and the monophyletism of R.viridis group,R.punctulata group,R.lateraria group,R.californica group get supported.Otherwise,R.viridis,R.chlorosoma,and R.scalaris of phylogenetic tree are mixed and cannot be separated,therefore,some species may have synonyms;R.picta and R.genistae are clustered into one branch,indicating that there may be the case of synonyms.The phylogenetic problems of Rhogogaster and generalized Tenthredo require further study,and nuclear gene data analysis may be required to determine the phylogenetic relationship between the genus Rhogogaster and its relatives.
