Study On Ergonomic Evaluation Of The Elderly-oriented Sofa

Population aging is the basic national situation in China for a long time to come.Some experts predict that by 2050,China's aging population will reach one third of the total population.Elderly-oriented furniture is an important part of the elderly market with great development power,but its development situation is lagging behind.The main reasons are the lack of standardized guidance in the industry,insufficient funds,lack of talents,and consumer groups' misunderstanding of elderly-oriented furniture.The sofa is an important part of daily living.However,there are no standards and technical specifications related to elderly-oriented sofas at home and abroad.The existing sofa standards and studies only cover some structural dimensions and cannot meet the needs of the elderly for comfortable sofas.In accordance with the principles of ergonomics,it is necessary to determine the design requirements of elderly-oriented sofas that meet the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly,provide technical references for the design of elderly-oriented furniture,and lay the foundation for the formulation of national standards.Combined with the national key research and development project "Human-centered design and product user experience evaluation technology standard research",this article carried out some research work,and the main research contents were as follows:1.Establish an ergonomic evaluation index system for elderly-oriented sofas.First,on the basis of the existing sofa ergonomic evaluation index system,through market surveys,user interviews and questionnaire surveys,combined with the user's actual use scenarios and interactive behavior habits,the ergonomic evaluation indexes of elderlyoriented sofas were determined.Using the G1 method,the weight coefficient of the ergonomic evaluation index of the elderly-oriented sofa was determined,and finally the ergonomic evaluation index system of the elderly-oriented sofa was established,which laid the foundation for the ergonomic evaluation of the suitable sofa.2.Research on recommended parameters of ergonomic evaluation indexes of elderly-oriented sofa.First of all,according to the established ergonomic evaluation indexes of elderly-oriented sofas,an experimental scheme was designed.Then carried out sofa soft hardness test and structure size usability test experiment.Finally,according to the experimental results and ergonomic principles,the sofa structure size data obtained by the experiment was sorted out,and the recommended range of the elderly-oriented sofa structure size was obtained,and the ergonomic evaluation requirements for other experiential indicators such as easy cleaning and sound was proposed,which provided the basis for the ergonomic evaluation of the elderly-oriented sofa.3.Research on the characteristics of elderly-oriented behavior.Human body motion biomechanical characteristics experiments were completed by using motion capture technology,and the standing motion behavior parameters of the elderly were obtained.By analyzing the ground reaction force,joint angle,height,speed and movement trajectory of the elderly during the standing process,combined with the structural characteristics of the sofa,the study determined the ergonomic design requirements for the function of the elderly-oriented sofa and the design suggestions of the human-computer interaction interface of the assisting function were provided,which provided a basis for the ergonomic evaluation of the assisting function of elderlyoriented sofas.4.Study on ergonomic evaluation method of elderly-oriented sofa.Based on the human-computer interaction characteristics of the elderly-oriented sofa and the physiological characteristics and behavioral preferences of the elderly,on the basis of research analysis and test verification,two evaluation methods,professional evaluation and user evaluation,had been determined to provide support for the ergonomic evaluation technical specifications of elderly-oriented sofas.The ergonomic evaluation index system,technical requirements and evaluation methods of the evaluation index determined by the research on this subject can provide a reference for the ergonomic research,design,evaluation,purchase and quality supervision of the elderly-oriented furniture and provide technical methods and data parameters support for the development of relevant national ergonomics standards in China.
