biodiversity is closely related to human interests,and biodiversity protection is a long-term task in the development of human society.To determine the priority area of biodiversity conservation is the premise of completing the conservation task.The south of Hunan Province has a superior geographical position,a vast territory,abundant animal and plant resources.It is of great significance to protect the species in this area for the whole ecosystem.At present,many provincial and national nature reserves have been built in southern Hunan,and some achievements have been made in species protection.However,due to the imperfect consideration in the initial stage of the establishment of the nature reserve,the protection efficiency of the nature reserve is deficient,and there are gaps in protection.Based on this,this study re analyzed the priority areas of biodiversity conservation in southern Hunan.Using the system planning method,according to the topography and biodiversity characteristics of southern Hunan,using the geographic information system software(ArcGIS)and the system planning software(marxan),taking the catchment area in the study area as the planning unit,determined the target species of conservation,and calculated each planning unit Based on the irreplaceable value of species conservation in the planning unit,the high conservation value area is obtained,and the gap between the high conservation value area and the existing nature reserve is analyzed.Then,the biodiversity conservation network in southern Hunan is constructed by the minimum resistance model.Combined with landscape science,ecology and other disciplines,the landscape ecological corridor design is carried out by taking part of the ecological network connected with the city as an example,In order to provide experience for biodiversity conservation in southern Hunan.The main results are as follows:(1)The middle and high conservation value areas in southern Hunan are distributed in the following three areas: South of Dupangling mountain system north of Huashan Mountain system,north of Nanling Mountain System south of jiugashan Qitianling mountain south of Yangming Mountain and south of the middle of Nanling Mountain range.These three regions have high irreplaceable value and rich biodiversity species,which is of great significance for biodiversity protection in southern Hunan.The overall distribution of the species richness gradually decreased from the boundary line of Nanling Mountains to the surrounding area.(2)In terms of spatial distribution,the nature reserve does not cover most of the planning units with high conservation value.Most of the planning units with high conservation value in the study area are not included in the reserve,and there are a large number of protection vacancies,among which the most obvious ones are located in the south end of Dupangling mountain system,the north part of Nanling Mountain System-jiugushan-Qitianling south section-South section of Yangming Mountain and south end of Bamianshan Wuzhishan area,which account for 235 catchment planning units with an area of 3714.5km2,accounting for 9.23% of the total area of the research area..(3)Based on the grid layer of resistance value and the map layer of ecological source,the lowest cost path between each ecological source is calculated by using the minimum cost distance model tool,and the best way of exchange and migration among 36 corridor species is extracted by sorting out and deleting the duplicate corridor,so as to obtain the potential network ecological corridor of biodiversity protection in southern Hunan.(4)Taking the design of multiple nodes in the ecological corridor as an example,this paper discusses the ecological corridor design under the premise of biodiversity protection,analyzes the significance of landscape design in the ecological corridor according to the landscape,ecology,biology and other disciplines,designs the ecological corridor from the aspects of culvert design,corridor bridge design,plant configuration,etc.,so as to provide a reference for the construction of the ecological corridor in southern Hunan Jian.
