Investigation And Evaluation On The Geheritage Resources In Middle Section Of Yellow River,Shanxi

This thesis is followed by the Specification for Geoheritage Investigation(DZ/T0303-2017)issued by the Ministry of Land and Resources.According to the modern theories of geological sciences and sustainable development,and combined the methods of the data cllection and field investigation,this paper carries out the geoheritage investigation and evaluation in the middle section of Yellow River,Shanxi,clarifies the geological background and evolutionary conditions for their geoheritage resources.In the study area,the geoheritage resources belong to 3categories,7 types and 12 sub-types.Among them,there are 15 geosites in the basic geological category(4 stratigraphic profiles,1 structural profile,10 key fossil sites);33 geosites in landform(landscape)category(14 rock mass landforms,15 hydrological landscapes,2 structual landforms);and 2 landslide sites in geohazard category.The characteristics and significance of these geoheritage sites have been described,and their distribution and forming and evolution processes are summarized and discussed.The results show there are 2 world-class,6 nation-class,26province-class and 10 region-class geoheritage sites.Finally,the author proposes the suggestion for the geoheritage protection,including 1 protected area,4 key protected sites and 15 common protected sites.
