There are some problems such as inconsistent methods and discontinuous data in the establishment of species database of the same populations,which limit the application of the data in conservation research.Take the Chinese white dolphin in coastal water of Guangxi(Qin Zhou and Bei Hai)for example.The first is the method,different research teams use different survey methods,resulting in differences in the survey volume,which limits the further application of the data;in addition,there are inconsistent methods in data processing,There is a lack of unified data collection guidelines and data processing methods,and there is a lack of power analysis on different data analysis such as the cumulative number of identified individuals,the number of recaptures,and the amount of effort.The second,in the investigation of time and space region,there are also problems such as time discontinuity and space discontinuity,and the deviation of survey quantity will eventually affect the subsequent data analysis.This study took Guangxi population as the research object,integrated the historical data of different groups through teamwork,analyzed their social structure and habitat use,and provided data support and scientific suggestions for the conservation of Chinese white dolphins.This study mainly included three aspects:Firstly,the DISCOVERY software was used to establish the individual identification database of Guangxi population,and the analysis of its social structure and habitat use patterns based on individual identification database.Through teamwork and data authorization,the survey data of four research teams(Shandong University,Shantou University,Institute of Deep-sea Sciences and Engineering,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Nanjing Normal University)were obtained from 2010 to 2019,and the Discovery database of Guangxi population was established based on data standard processing,in order to overcome the discontinuity of individual recognition database in time and space,data processing was not unified and so on.Secondly,statistical analysis of basic association degree,degree of social differentiation,clustering analysis and degree of community separation in SOCPROG were used to analyze the overall social relationship of the population.Network analysis statistics(NAS)in SOCPROG and Netdraw software were used to calculate the social structure within the population,including strength,eigenvector centrality,reach,clustering coefficient and affinity.At the same time,some females were identified and their social status was analyzed.Finally,the MCP of ArcGIS and GME were used to identify the habitat range of Guangxi population,and the broad,medium and core habitat were divided.According to geographical factors,different blocks were divided and the spatial analysis model between different blocks was established,and compare differences in habitat use between different communities and between the sexes.The results showed that the current cumulative detection curve was in the plateau period,and 249 individuals of Chinese white dolphin(Sousa chinensis)were identified cumulatively,with an average number of sightings of 13.41,and the coverage of left and right dorsal fins was 94.4%.The database cross-matching based on continuous time period can effectively improve the accuracy of matching and reduce the risk of individual mismatching and analysis error caused by insufficient data of a single research team.At the same time,through the power analysis based on social structure,the feasibility of integrating database for social structure analysis was verified.The analysis of social structure shows that there are three main social groups in Guangxi.And there are preferential partnership and random partnership among individuals,and female individuals occupy more important social status.Through habitat use analysis,the core,medium and extensive distribution areas of Guangxi population were identified.At the same time,it was found that there were significant differences in habitat preference among different populations in Guangxi,but there were no differences in habitat preference between different genders.By calculating the lag recognition rate,it is known that Guangxi population is a closed population,with migration and re-migration,and female individuals have higher locational attachment.According to the administrative boundary,the research area is divided into Qin Zhou and Bei Hai.Through the spatial analysis model,it is known that individuals in Beihai region have higher locational attachment.
