Since the reform and opening up,China’s economic growth has made great achievements,and it is accompanied by a series of development problems and obstacles.How to effectively solve these problems has become one of the important issues of common concern in academic research and government policy formulation at this stage.Among them,total factor productivity is one of the focuses of scholars.Throughout the literature,it is found that most scholars use the "China Industrial Enterprise Database" to measure and analyze the total factor productivity,and then based on the results,analyze and judge whether the past economic growth model is reasonable.However,the amount of data in the enterprise database is relatively large and complicated.If the database is not matched,it will have a greater impact on the validity of the final result.Therefore,based on the predecessors,three data matching methods are used,namely Nie Huihua.The "grouping cross-matching method",Brandt’s "sequential identification method",and Yang Hao’s improved version of the "sequential matching method",after analysis and comparison,finally obtained panel data with academic research value.This paper firstly analyzes the distribution of manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang county and region,and uses the Malmquist index and ATFP approximation estimation method of DEA model to measure the total factor productivity of all enterprises in Zhejiang Province from 2005 to 2013.Starting from the industry,establish a panel regression model to study the transmission mechanism between enterprise scale,R&D investment and total factor productivity.Finally,starting from the industry,focus on the enterprise scale,technological progress and total factors of Zhejiang electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry.The mechanism of action between productivity.The results show that: First,the production factors in the northeastern Zhejiang are generally higher than the southwestern Zhejiang.As far as different industries are concerned,labor-intensive industries are pillar industries in Zhejiang Province,occupying half of the country,while capital-intensive industries and technology-intensive industries have similar positions in the manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province.Second,capital-intensive industries have the highest total factor productivity,followed labor-intensive industries,and technology-intensive industries.Thirdly,by constructing an econometric model of the factors affecting total factor productivity,it is found that the typical labor-intensive industries in Zhejiang Province—the textile industry and the capital-intensive industries—the transportation equipment manufacturing industry is not economically scaled,but enterprises can improve The technical level,in turn,has a positive effect on productivity.The technology-intensive industries in Zhejiang Province—communication equipment,computer and electronic equipment manufacturing industries are showing economies of scale,and the scale of enterprises can further increase productivity by improving production technology.Fourthly,based on the perspective of scale heterogeneity,the paper analyzes the typical industries in Zhejiang Province—electric machinery and equipment manufacturing industry,and analyzes the specific factors that affect its productivity.The results show that the scale of enterprises is large for large and medium-sized enterprises.Factor productivity is a positive impact,which has a negative impact on the total factor productivity of small-scale enterprises;large and medium-sized enterprises are suitable for the organization structure of domestic-funded enterprises,and small-scale enterprises are suitable for the organizational structure of foreign-funded enterprises.Based on the above analysis,specific countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for the development of Zhejiang industrial enterprises.
