With the occurrence of various emergencies such as natural disasters,accidents,which have serious impacts on people's lives,property and the natural environment,threatening the sustainable development of society and the normal life of people.The construction of survey and mapping emergency support is of great significance.As an important part of survey and mapping emergency support,the emergency map can effectively provide urgently needed geographic information in the face of emergencies,and plays an important role in various disaster emergency response.In view of the low efficiency and complicated process of the current emergency map production,it is of great significance to improve the production process of emergency map and develop the rapid mapping system.This thesis analyzes the current emergency map production mode,and studies the emergency map rapid production mode based on the cartographic knowledge rule base.This thesis has carried out the design of emergency map and the construction of the cartographic knowledge rule base.The rapid mapping system was initially developed,and functional testing and practical application were carried out.The main research work and results of this thesis are as follows:1.The relevant theoretical basis of emergency map production is summarized.The production mode of existing emergency map is analyzed in depth,and the production mode of emergency map is improved.2.According to the production process of the emergency map in the rapid mapping system,the design principles of symbols,annotations,colors,decorations and other elements are clarified,and the preliminary design is carried out with examples.3.The emergency map design and expert experience are formalized under the support of ArcGIS's representational models,extensible markup languages,and relational databases.Forming a standardized,flexible and reusable library of cartographic knowledge rules to lay the foundation for rapid production of emergency maps.4.The system architecture and function design of the rapid mapping system were carried out,and the rapid mapping system was initially developed.The system was able to load the mapping data and quickly complete the functions of symbolization,annotation configuration,decorations generation and output printing.The related functional tests of the rapid mapping system were carried out,and the feasibility of the emergency map rapid production mode studied in this thesis was verified in practical applications.
