| As an important theoretical research direction of urban planning disciplines,urban planning history research has accumulated a lot of research results after years of development.How to use these results reasonably and efficiently has become an important issue.In the existing urban planning related fields,GIS(Geographic Information System)has been widely used for analysis and research,while the relevant discussion on the use of GIS for urban planning history research is relatively rare.Different from the traditional urban planning history research method,using GIS for research is a digital research method adapted to the times.Based on the theory of spatial information integration,this study attempts to propose a method for constructing urban planning historical geographic information system,and build a set of geographic information system database containing urban planning and construction history information with Hong Kong as an example.The study attempts to use GIS to assist in the study of urban planning history and apply its results to other urban planning related fields.This study uses literature summarization,comparative analysis,systematic induction and other methods to analyze the literature and case of GIS application in the urban planning history research literature and urban planning related fields,so that the constructed database can storage the urban planning history research data,and analyze the needs,and support the urban planning related fields to directly use the data,summarizing the commonality of the data used between the two,and provide a basis for database construction.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the source of the research,the research significance,the research object,the research method,the research framework and the related research summary at home and abroad.The second chapter discusses how to use GIS to study the history of urban planning.It mainly summarizes: 1.Research methods and research contents of urban planning history research;2.Relevant concepts and characteristics of GIS;3.Suitable for urban planning history research GIS analysis method;4.Research methods and data used in GIS for urban planning related fields.From the above information,it is concluded that what is needed to construct the urban planning history GIS database provides a theoretical basis for the third chapter database construction.The third chapter discusses the method of constructing the historical database of urban planning.The three methods of conceptual model design,logical model design and physical model design are used to establish this database.The result of this chapter is the common scheme of urban planning history GIS database.According to this frame,Applicable to the construction of most urban planning history databases in China.The fourth chapter takes Hong Kong's modern urban planning history as the research object,conducts a concrete analysis of Hong Kong,draws the characteristics of its urban planning and construction process,and combines the results of the third chapter to formulate a construction plan for the historical urban GIS database of Hong Kong.Then use this scheme to build and make an example.The fifth chapter summarizes the results and shortcomings of this research,and proposes a prospect for research in this field. |
