Shinisaurus crocodilurus Ahl is the Class I protected animals in China and included the CITES appendix in?in 1989.Due to the influence of human activities in recent years, the habitat was severely damaged and the population decreased sharply. In order to explore the habitat area of the minimum viable population and the factors affecting the changes in activity line home region of the S.crocodilurus,In May to September 2017 and May to September 2018,we used radio telemetry method to study home domain of Shinisaurus crocodilurus.Based on the generalized linear mixed models(GLMM),the activity line home region between male and female, adult and subadult S.crocodilurus were compared, respectively. The relationship between body weight, body length, tail length, canopy density, water depth, sediment ratio, environmental temperature, habitat branch height and the activity line home region of S.crocodilurus were analyzed. The main results are as follow:(1)In terms of family domain, the annual average family domain and daily average moving distance of the S.crocodilurus in daguishan is very small, which is only 69.34 ±71.11 m and 1.08±0.978m(n=21).The largest average family domain is male subadult M10,which moves 337 m throughout a year. The smallest average family domain of S.crocodilurus is F15,which moves 6m throughout the year.In the whole study period,The average family domain of male is significantly greater than that of female. The average family domain of subadult is significantly greater than that of adult. The activity line family domain has significantly difference in different months.Activities line home region in May,June and July are significantly greater than the remaining 2months.The line home region of sub-adult S.crocodilurus in May and June accounted for more than 60% in the year and more than 50% of all year in July,The results showed that activities of S.crocodilurus is the most frequent in May,June and July. The line home region of sub-adult S.crocodilurus in May and June was 92.25 ±4.25 m and 80.97 ±1.31 m respectively, accounting for more than60% and 52% of the whole year.Adult females and males in June have greater linehome region than that in the other months, accounting for more than 75% and 50% of the whole year respectively, and significantly larger than the activity line home region of other months. In August and September, the range of active line family is very small, which is 15.14 ±10.73 m and 16.31± 10.62 m,respectively.Someindividuals hardly moved.(2)Factors affecting the range of guannara's line of activity: This study based on analysis of the S.crocodilurus GLMM model for age, sex, body length, tail length, body weight and the site environment of Canopy, water depth, site bottom sediment substrate composition, the S.crocodilurus climb the height and the branch diameter, and environmental factors such as environmental temperature affect S.crocodilurus family domain. The results showed that the body weight, body length and tail length of S.crocodilurus as well as environmental factors such as environmental temperature, branch diameter and percentage of sand and gravel in the bottom of the backwater pond were not the factors influencing the size of family domain. The sex, age, height of branches, water depth of gully and canopy of sites are the main factors affecting the size of S.crocodilurus family domain.(3)Overlapping family domains of active lines: the family domains of male and female S.crocodilurus overlapped from May to September, but the intersection of their active lines is frequent in May and June, while relatively small in other months. The results also show that there was an overlap between male and male S.crocodilurus individuals in the study area, but there is little overlap in the family domains of the activity lines between the female and female S.crocodilurus individuals.
