Mathematics drama is a new form of mathematical culture communication.Relying on a kind of figurative interpretation of drama,integrating mathematics,can make mathematics life,art,and popularization,so that more people can approach mathematics and understand mathematics.The original mathematics drama of East China Normal University has been tried and promoted for seven years,including the participation of college students in the university mathematics culture class.We hope to further promote them to primary and secondary schools,providing a new form of mathematics teaching practice activities in primary and secondary schools.Because other scholars have little research on the theory and practice of mathematical drama,so this study combines theory and practice to explore the mode of creation and practice of mathematical drama from the three aspects of drama,audience and cast members.At the same time,this article also further explores the impact of mathematical drama on the audience and cast members.The research method and process are to conduct action research on the value of mathematics drama morality through the following four stages: firstly,preliminarily preparing for the practice of mathematical drama,including the design of the theme of the script,the audience questionnaire and the interview outline of the actors;secondly,carrying out the creation and practice of mathematical drama and collecting relevant data;thirdly,organizing and analyzing the data information of scripts,audiences and cast members;finally,proposing improvements to the script and reflecting on it.According to the mathematical scripts,performance videos,questionnaires,and interview results,the following research conclusions are obtained:(1)The scriptwriting of mathematics drama should pay attention to the audience,themes,plot design and length of time.And the practice of mathematics drama should pay attention to efficient and reasonable planning,skills training for actors,teaching of working experience,promotion of propaganda,the video recording of whole process,and the summary of previous experience.(2)The influence of mathematics drama on the audience manifested as the three aspects below:(a)approaching the development process and stimulating the exploration interest;(b)feeling the rigorous attitude and cultivating the spirit of research;(c)enhancing cultural self-confidence and enhancing patriotic enthusiasm.(3)Mathematical drama influences cast members with the following aspects:(a)never giving up when facing difficulties and being brave in innovation and exploration;(b)daring to raise doubts and criticisms,rigorously and realistically doing research independently;(c)strengthening communicating and cooperation among the collectives,and courageously undertake the inheritance of civilization.Comparatively speaking,in terms of scientific spirit,the influence of mathematical drama on the audience and the cast members is relatively consistent,mainly in the attitude and spirit of rigorous and realistic research.In terms of humanistic spirit,the audience shows interest in approaching mathematics.The cast members pay more attention to the persistence and innovation from the story.In terms of social participation,the patriotic enthusiasm of the audience has been improved,and the cast members pay more attention to the teamwork and civilization inheritance in the participation process.
