Lanzhou-Xining Economic Zone is the key development area determined by the Party Central Committee's“One Belt,One Road”economic development policy.Lanzhou New District is the fifth national-level new district approved by the State Council in August 2012.The five-way plaza is located in the middle of Lanzhou New District.The area of 415km~2 is the key area for the construction of the new area.It belongs to the lower level of hydrogeology and engineering geological research.With the continuous development of the city,the scale and intensity of human engineering activities continue to intensify,and the geological environment also changes.The demand for hydrogeology,engineering geology and environmental geological work is enormous.Through the field investigation,engineering drilling,hydrological drilling,water quality analysis and other means,the formation lithology of the new area,the relationship between the aquifers,the quality of the groundwater,the geological characteristics of the geotechnical engineering,the types of geological disasters and the development conditions,the saline soil The distribution and other environmental geological problems have been further investigated.The landslides are mainly developed in the loess hilly areas on the east and west sides of the area;collapsed,unstable slopes,loess hilly areas and gullies that are collapsing on the east and west sides,The silt area is widely distributed;the large area distribution of saline soil in the area has a great impact on the growth of crops;the phenomenon of private drilling and water intake in the investigation area is very serious,posing a greater threat to groundwater;The small sand ore mine has a wide distribution,a large number,and a large impact area,which has a great impact on the landscape and land use of the new area.Through specific research,find out the causes and laws of the above problems,and propose corresponding prevention and control methods for possible environmental geological problems,which have important reference value for the construction of new districts and future planning.It also provides basic geological data for the planning and construction of Lanzhou-Xining Economic Zone,and serves the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the construction of ecological civilization.
