Urban Geology is a science of geological conditions and geological resources related to urban construction and development, which provides a basis for urban planning, construction and management services by studying the resources and constraints provided by various geological factors for the urban development and the influence on the factors through the urban development. As a basic subject for the cities'sustainable development, Urban Geology is becoming more and more important. With the development of computer application technology, urban three-dimensional geological modeling and information technology are also gradually carried out. Urban Geology Research through the three-dimensional geological model will analyze and make use of the existing geological resources in the three-dimensional situation, avoid the geological disasters caused by the engineering constructions, promote and maintain the coordination of urban environment and development absolutely, as well as propose reasonable and scientific suggestions for the urban planning.In this paper, the three-dimensional geological model of engineering construction layer of Tongzhou District of Beijing is established through collecting the previous results of geological mapping of Tongzhou District and three-dimensional multi-parameter investigation system. Geotechnical model includes several aspects, such as the types of rock and soil, adverse geological phenomena and hydrogeology, combining with previous research results of geological structures and topography, selecting the reasonable evaluating indicator to analyze and evaluate the characteristics of the engineering geological environmental quality of the study area comprehensively. Main idea of this paper is: first of all, to establish a database of the engineering geological environment of the study area, to process geological data digitally by GIS data processing system and to establish the three-dimensional geological model by the observation data. Secondly, to select the reasonable evaluating indicator based on the quality characteristics of the engineering geological environment of the study area to analyze the suitability of the project, and to form the site work construction suitability subarea map and the site stability subarea map; The end of this paper is to predict and analyze the question of the environment quality of engineering geology and give reasonable proposal of the development and utilization of geotechnical bedrock. The following conclusions are based on the above analysis:The regional stability of the study area is good, and the area is at a good conditions with non-corrosive groundwater to concrete and poor site conditions and adverse geological function only in some areas. And as a result, the engineering geological environment quality is at a good condition and is conducive to human society and economic development.The engineering geological conditions of the study area are suitable for the development and utilization of underground space.
