Study On The Relation Between The Change Of Marine Industrial Structure And Marine Economic Growth In The Yangtze River Delta Region

With the development of society,the demand for energy is increasing,which leads to the increasing tension of land resources.In view of this situation,people have gradually shifted their vision of development to the ocean with rich resources,and many times set off a global upsurge in the development of the ocean.The degree of development of marine economy has become one of the important symbols to measure the world's marine power.Marine emerging industries represented by marine high-tech industry have become an important pillar industry in some developed countries.As a big ocean country,China's ocean economy started relatively late,but its development speed can not be underestimated.Since 2004,China's gross marine economic output has maintained between 9% and 10% of GDP.The growth rate of marine economy is much higher than that of GDP in the same period.Marine economy has become one of the important pillars of our national economy.The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the goal of building a powerful marine country,while the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China further emphasized the need to speed up the construction of a powerful marine country.However,with the development of marine economy,China's marine industry also has many problems,such as unreasonable marine industrial structure,facing the pressure of transformation and upgrading.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how to adjust the marine industrial structure,glow its role in promoting marine economic growth,and then promote the national economy.As one of the three major marine economic zones,the Yangtze River Delta plays an important role in promoting the development of China's marine economy.Based on the theory of industrial structure and economic growth,this paper makes an empirical analysis of the relationship between the change of marine industrial structure and the growth of marine economy in the Yangtze River Delta Marine Economic Zone by using the method of multi-sectoral economic model and multiple regression analysis.In order to sort out the development status of the Yangtze River Delta Marine Economic Zone more comprehensively,this paper makes a multi-angle comparison with the Bohai Rim Marine Economic Zone and the Pearl River Delta Marine Economic Zone.It is found that during 1996-2015,the Yangtze River Delta has witnessed a significant increase in its gross marine product,a decline in the growth rate of traditional marine industries,and a gradual decrease in the proportion of marine primary industries;marine high-tech industries have emerged from scratch and gradually occupied a dominant position;and the proportion of marine secondary industries and marine tertiary industries has expanded.Compared with other coastal provinces(cities,districts),the Yangtze River Delta has a smaller internal marine economic gap.At present,Shanghai and Zhejiang maintain the "321" industrial structure,while Jiangsu is the "231" industrial structure.Through comparative analysis,it is found that the development of marine economic regions in the Yangtze River Delta region is unbalanced,and the marine industrial structure is obviously different;the coordination of marine economic regions is poor;the development of traditional marine industries is seriously constrained;the development of marine high-tech industries has not broken through bottlenecks.The results of empirical analysis show that among the three major marine economic zones,the marine primary industry in the Yangtze River Delta region has a comparative advantage,the marine secondary industry has obvious disadvantages,and the marine second and tertiary industries have greater optimization space.The change of the marine primary industry structure in the Yangtze River Delta region has a positive effect on the growth of the marine economy,while the marine secondary industry has a negative effect,and the role of the marine tertiary industry is not significant.On the basis of combing the current situation and empirical analysis,three suggestions for optimizing the industrial structure are proposed: for the primary industry,we must vigorously develop offshore fisheries and marine aquaculture,and strengthen the construction of aquatic products brands;And policy support,support and promote industrial transformation and upgrading;on the tertiary industry,we must accelerate the integration of science and education and port resources,and build a model city of coastal tourism.In summary,the main content of this study includes seven chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which briefly describes the research background,significance and methods of this paper,and points out the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.The second chapter is literature review,which combs the domestic and foreign literature on the relationship between industrial structure change and economic growth,introduces the relevant research on the relationship between the change of marine industrial structure and economic growth by domestic and foreign scholars,and makes a brief comment.The third chapter is the description of the current situation of marine economy,describing the course of marine economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta from the vertical time dimension and the horizontal regional dimension,and revealing the existing problems.Chapter four is the analysis of marine industrial structure,comparing and combing the evolution of marine industrial structure in the Yangtze River Delta,and using the deviation share analysis method to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of its industrial structure and competitiveness.The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis,using the multi-sectoral economic model and multiple regression analysis method,mainly studies the contribution of the change of marine industrial structure to the marine economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone and draws conclusions.Chapter VI is the countermeasures and suggestions,combined with the analysis results and existing problems,respectively,from the perspective of the development of three marine industries to promote the transformation and upgrading of the marine industrial structure.The seventh chapter is the summary and prospect.It briefly summarizes the research contents and conclusions of this paper,points out the shortcomings of this paper,and points out the direction of further research in the future.The innovations of this thesis are mainly reflected in:(1)In terms of research objects,this paper explores the contribution of the marine industry structure changes in the Yangtze River Delta region with a relatively new perspective.(2)In terms of quantitative indicators,this paper uses a relatively new multi-sectoral economic model to characterize the changes in the structure of the marine industry.(3)In terms of empirical analysis,this paper combines the multi-sector economic model with multiple regression analysis,and explores the contribution of the three-season industrial structure changes in different periods.
