Research On Operating Efficiency Evaluation Of Third Party Logistics Enterprises Based On PCA-DEA

With the coming of the 40th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up,the rapid development of social economy and the continuous progress of science and technology in China have made the logistics industry more and more active in the economic process.The service and operation of the logistics industry presents an intelligent and diversified development pattern.In this environment,the operational efficiency of third party logistics enterprises will also directly indicate their industry competitiveness or viability.Therefore,optimizing enterprise resource allocation,improving customer service level,objectively and scientifically evaluating the operation efficiency of logistics enterprises,helping them find the weak links in the operation process through the analysis of the operation efficiency of logistics enterprises,thus formulating long-term development goals is an important topic to improve the core competitiveness of logistics enterprises.Firstly,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the existing literature on the evaluation theory of business efficiency.Then,combined with the industry characteristics and recent development of third-party logistics enterprises,principal component analysis(PCA)and data envelope analysis(DEA)are selected to evaluate the business efficiency of third-party logistics enterprises.After a thorough study of the index selection method,based on the idea of balanced scorecard(BSC),this paper selects 17 operational efficiency evaluation indicators from four dimensions:learning and growth level,business process level,financial capability level and customer level,and divides them into input indicators and output indicators according to relevant principles,in order to construct an objective and comprehensive third-party logistics enterprise economy.The evaluation index system of business efficiency.Then it puts forward the concrete implementation steps of the third party logistics enterprise operating efficiency evaluation model based on PCA-DEA model.Finally,the method is validated and analyzed by an example.The input and output index data of the third party logistics enterprises collected are analyzed by principal component analysis using SPSS software.Then the DEA model is used to evaluate the operational efficiency of the third party logistics enterprises.The comprehensive ranking of the operational efficiency of each decision-making unit is obtained,and the evaluation is made from the angles of overall efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.The results are analyzed and the countermeasures and suggestions for the operation efficiency of the logistics enterprise are put forward.
