In recent years, the development of electronic technology has become more and more vigorous, and the collection method of hydrological data has undergone major changen. As long as the corresponding electronic sensors are installed in the river channel or groundwater level observation well to be observed, the flow of the river or the groundwater level data can be automatically obtained. And store the data in the electronic equipment, the staff can download the data regularly. This not only greatly saves the field workload of the researchers, but also makes it possible to capture short-term or instantaneous hydrological data changes. The hydrological data observation interval can be Artificially set, usually 15 minutes, that is,15 minutes to obtain a river.Flow or groundwater level data.Technological advances in hydrological data observation and collection enable researchers to analyze changes in hydrological data on a smaller time scale. For example, when we obtain flow data at 15-minute intervals,we can obtain daily average, weekly average,or monthly average flow data by averaging.Modeling traffic data at different time intervals can understand traffic from different time scales.Change law.Development of data collection technology With the advent of the era of big data, traditional hydrological models should be adjusted accordingly to meet the challenges of the new era. So,does the grey system modeling method adapt to hydrological modeling at different time scales?Taking the water flow of Niangziguan Spring as an example, this paper models the spring water flow from the annual and monthly time scales, discusses the scale effect of the gray system modeling, and compares it with the wavelet analysis to take advantage of the long complement to improve the gray system modeling effect. The first chapter introduces the gray system model, the research status of wavelet analysis a(d the structure of this paper. The second chapter introduces the general situation of Niangziguan. The third chapter introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of gray system and its appli-cat ion in the flow simulation of Niangziguan. The fourth chapter introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of wavelet analysis and its application in the flow simulation of Niangziguan.
