From January 1st to November 23rd 2018,a total of 102 infrared cameras were placed at three different altitudes in Wuyi Mountain,Fujian province. The effective cameraworking daysreached 11446.Total of 888 Silver pheasant(Lophuranycthemera)independent and effective photo were taken and 1108 individuals were identified.Total of 76 Yellow-bellied tragopan(Tragopancaboti)were photographed, and 77 individuals were identified. We explored their temporal and spatial utilization behavior through the relevant data,theresultsareasfollows:1.The shooting rate of Silver pheasant in all altitudes is larger than that of Yellow-bellied tragopan, and the shooting rate is the highest in the middle altitude section(900-1400m),the high altitude section(above 1500m)is the lowest. The shooting rate of Yellow-bellied tragopan is hightest in high altitude section(above 1500 m)and did not photographed in low altitude section(300?899 m).2.Both of the two species have increased frequency of activity at low altitude in winter and at high altitude in summer. It shows that there are seasonal vertical migration behaviors of the Silver pheasant and the Yellow-bellied tragopan in Wuyi Mountain National Nature Reserve.3.There are differences in the daily activity rhythm of the Silver pheasant and Yellow-bellied tragopan in different altitude sections. The activity peak of Silver pheasant is pushed back with the elevation. The activity peak of Yellow-bellied tragopan is seasonally defferent, the peak of winter appears in the afternoon and the peak of other seasons appears in the morning as same as Silver pheasant, but the time period is advanced. The optimal activity temperature of Silver pheasant is 20? and 13?forthe Yellow-bellied tragopan.4.The Silver pheasantand Yellow-bellied tragopan have overlapping and differentiation in the utilization of 5 selected ecological factors. The comprehensive ecological niche of Silver pheasant is larger than that of Yellow-bellied tragopan and it shows that Silver pheasant is more competitive than Yellow-bellied tragopan.5.Total of 4296 groups of effective independent photographs of all animals were obtained.47 species of animals were identified, including 19 species of mammals, belonging to 10families and 5 orders, including Asiatic black bear(Ursus thibetanus),Yellow-throated marten(Martes flavigula),Chinese serow(Capricornis milneedwardsii),etc.total 6 species, who are listed as category I species;28 species of birds, belongning to 8 families and 4 orders, including Yellow-bellied tragopan,Chinese barred-backed pheasant(Syrmaticus ellioti)two category I species and the category II specie Silver pheasant. The Red muntjac(Muniacus vaginalis),the Boar(sus scrofa),the Tufted deer(Elephodus cephalophus)were ranked as the top three of most abundant mammal. The Silver pheasant, the Yellow-bellied tragopan, both the White-necklaced partridge(Arborophila gingica)and the Blue whistling-thrush(Myophonus caeruleus)are the top three abundant birds species according to the relative abundance index.
