Objective Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive tract in the world, and its prognosis is relatively poor, which is a serious threat to human health.According to statistics from the International Agency for Research on Cancer, gastric cancer ranks fifth in the incidence of malignant tumors and third in mortality. The early screening mechanism of gastric cancer in China is not perfect. Many patients are in advanced stage at the first diagnosis, losing the chance of surgery and having a poor prognosis.In-depth understanding of the molecular biological mechanism of the development of gastric cancer is of great significance for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of gastric cancer. Many studies have shown that the expression of multiple mi RNAs in gastric cancer tissues is dysregulated and closely related to tumor invasion and prognosis. This study is based on data from control variables collected from GEO to understand the role of mi R-122 in distinguishing between gastric cancer patients and healthy populations,as well as cancer and adjacent tissues, and using bioinformatics methods to predict targets and analyze them. Methods Obtain the gene chip data from the GEO database, analyze the expression difference of mi R-122 between gastric cancer and healthy tissues, and then use mi RDB,Target Scan,Pic Tar and other target prediction software to predict the target, and use Pubmed and other websites for literature search, and Analysis of target function. Results The expression level of mi R-122 in gastric cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in normal tissues, and 32 targets were predicted by software. The remaining 10 were verified, among which 5 were retrieved from the literature.Conclusions.Mi R-122 may affect multiple target genes in gastric cancer and has an important impact on the growth and invasion of gastric cancer cells. In the next step, cell experiments can be used to further verify the target, and then the possible signaling pathways can be analyzed, which will open a new direction for the prediction and treatment of gastric cancer in the future.
